Google: “Ad Astra” is Latin for “to the stars”, and is used in many Latin phrases, the most common one being “per aspera ad astra”, which means “through hardships to the stars”.

Im usually really into space movies, but not so much when they slip into the realm of supernatural or metaphysical. Ive seen a few trailers for this, and honestly I don't really know much about it or have gotten any indication of weather or not id like it.

Agreed. Unless it's The VVitch. Saw that with my son on opening night with little info about its plot/setting. Man, that movie sucked...IMHO....
