I was intrigued all the way until the mystery was revealed.
The mystery was a HUGE let down.
The crisis the mystery was causing made no sense due to the distance involved especially when the solution to the crisis seemed worse than the crisis.
The climax was a HUGE let down completely ruined this movie.
Imagine the MCU ending with no payoffs that was Ad Astra.
The build up was nice I wasn?t bored.
Imagine Jessica Biel coming to your house in a bikini just to go poop then she leaves.
Oh and ignore all of that movie is gorgeous needs to be seen on Imax to be appreciated propaganda it is not.
It?s all black space lol
Also alcohol drugs have not been kind to Pitt?s face those close ups on him yikes he?s no longer that handsome dude from Troy.

Oh if that is the case then go for it!
I had two big fears going into this movie.
1. It was going to be super boring and pretentious.
2. The climax would ruin an otherwise good space thriller. 2001 ruined it for everybody now all space thrillers need an epic mind bending climax lol
Number 1 did not happen.
Number 2 came on like a run away locomotive!
More Sad than Mad.
