I got AC 3 last night, ive been playing it for a few hours on and off. I think i was near the end of sequence 2. I think. I dont know because i rage quit the game for being a total ****. I barely had any gameplay, it was boring and the game kept screwing me over by respawning me after a brief cut scene and planting me in front of enemies in stealth missions. Freeing the people from the gallows? Sneak around, get in a good position and out of sight. Quick cut scene of them being set free and you are spawned in a complete different position around the gallows and get insta-spotted. I even free'd all sets of the prisoners and the game didnt "checkpoint" me and put me back to the start.

I went from being a casual fan to not even wanting to play the game anymore. If it was my own copy and not one i borrowed id be selling it on ebay tonight.

1st one was great then yea it got boring fast they ****ed up having 3 games with ezio hate his character.

I will try to play ac3 again tomorrow. But im so over the franchise by now i dont feel like ive got it in me to play the same game for the 5th time with different skins and character names.

Darn, I hope it goes better for me. I'm about to start playing ACIII now, I'm just finishing up with the DLC (PS3 version). I'm really interested in the subject matter, being a History major in college, so I think I'll enjoy it for that alone. I don't care about historical accuracy or anything, it's a game, I just like the setting and what not.

Anyway.. it's all in good fun. Difference of opinion is what makes the world go round. If it didn't exist we wouldn't really learn much would we?

To be honest, being a big AC fan, AC 3 so far is alright. I think I had much more fun with Brotherhood. But then again, I'm only 20% in. Maybe it'll get better. As for RE, I'm probably in the minority on this, but I haven't LOVED a RE game since RE 2. The rest have been just alright for me, graphics aside obviously.

Im usually the guy who gets an AC game on release day, finishes it before most other folk and cant wait to discuss whats happened and such. I just cant feel it with AC 3 at the moment. Its like, watch a cut scene, walk over here, cut scene, walk over here, cut scene. I appreciate the slow-build in theory. I dont appreciate playing it for hours. And i have been getting glitches and i have heard people talk about it being glitchy, not sure if the re-spawning in front of enemies is one of thoes, im trying to avoid spoilers in the thread so ill still try to keep vague in this post.

RE also hasnt been "great" since the originals, but at least its changed its style into a completely different feeling game a few steps along the way to keep itself fresh.

I would agree with you that RE 2 is hands down the best of the series. Playing threw it the first time is one of my fondest memories in all my years of gaming, but I can't believe you didn't enjoy RE4 that game is easily one of my all time favs. I already beat AC3 and though I really enjoyed it, and I am glad I bought it, I still liked the AC2 trilogy far more. If your still only 20% threw it though a good peice of advice I can give is to not just play straight threw the story missions (I know it's tempting to b/c this end has been dragged out for 5 games.) Try to enjoy the other missions inbetween the main story. I made the mistake of playing staight threw the story missions and it made the game super frustrating at times. I'm playing through a second time and I feel like the whole experience is more enjoyable now.

I beat ac3 and it was alright , nothing special. It was hella glitchy.
