Would you rather have the new Ada Wong figure or ANY new Assassin's Creed figure?

All joking aside though, it would be amazing if Hot Toys can pick up the AC line again. Personally, I've wanted the Master Assassin and Romulus versions of Ezio for the longest time.

Hopefully, with the release of AC 3, the series will become more popular in the long run - enough to give Hot Toys the justification to release some figures again :monkey2

A Romulus version would be SICK!

Yeah the truth is that over half the people that voted would rather have ANY AC figure than Ada Wong...better get your little RE coalition to cast more votes! Not that it matters, HT is making Ada and not AC...I'm just sayin. Waiting for next revelation from Solidus...I'm sure its gonna be a good one! :wave

Well, at least you're finally admitting that your thread is a pointless endeavor..

Its a shame that over half the people didnt want to buy the Ezio figure when they were making 2 Weskers, 2 Chris Redfields, Jill Valentine & Sheva. Because they all came out at around the "same" time and all 6 of thoes figures go for more than Ezio does now. And that in numbers means the AC franchise goes for less than 1:6 in the aftermarket. So it doesnt matter what the poll means at the end of the day.

because

1) We are getting an Ada figure.
2) Were not getting an AC figure.
3) When we were getting an AC figure every single RE figure (even the HATED Sheva) outsold it.

Ezio sells for a lot more than his original retail so I'm not sure what your talking about when u say RE has drastically out sold AC. I personally would jump on any AC character, but this Ada Wong is a very easy pass for me. I still can't believe they have made so many RE characters and yet have not made one zombie.

Most of the RE figures go for close to 1,000$ nowadays.

Most Hot Toys do after about a year on the second market. However, Weskers and Chris's are selling for $300-$400+ and Leon and Krauser for $400-$600 now to name a few. And dare I say, some Leon's go upwards to $1000+!

Im talking about the aftermarket. IE supply and Demand after the retail stores have sold out. I could pick up a new ezio figure for about £180 on ebay now. But the 2 Chris Redfields, or Weskers are £250-£350, BSAA Jill for £250-£300 and Sheva for about £300+

If a singular Figure from an entire franchise cant be more sought after than any of the 6 figures (including 2 females) from 1 franchise then what is there in that statistic to warrant more AC over ANY(Proven sellers) RE figures?

I definitely see all of your points. But I also think a lot of those RE figures go for as much as they do because they ate older and more rare and HT hasn't yet exploited the RE franchise which would likely cause them to devalue. Plus I feel they dropped the ball a little with Ezio. There is no denying that both of these franchises can sell well. I think with time we will get atleast two or three more AC figures. I also understand why HT mite prefer doing RE figures over AC because the AC assassins are far more complex.

I hate to break it to you, but AC is not as popular as RE. And AC is stale at this point, to me at least. I bailed on Brotherhood, I didn't even finish it.

Well that just sounds like another opinion on the Internet to me. I know a lot more people into AC, and RE has been stale for a long long time now.

AC is very very very same-old at this point. it would be like if Resident evil 4, 5 & 6 were exactly the same as the first game with fixed cameras and control system.

RE knew it needed to keep it fresh and did a 180 with re4 and again they shaked things up drastically with 6. And are breaking record sales. So it feels like if you want to play any of the main games you need to completely change your game style. But at this point with AC (and im not hating on it, but i am fed up with it) i feel like ive been playing the same game for years, except the further i get in it i get onto a new character. I think with AC3's Conner storyline it feels like its a new start for the franchise... but its not. Its the end. They should of either made an Ezio finale to the Desmond story or offspring of Ezio and have that be that. The entire British, American, Native American thing comes so out of nowhere and is ultimately going to go nowhere due to the basis of the game.

But alas... nevermind. This thread has done well.

Ive platinum'd all of the AC games except for AC III which I haven't played as yet. I like the storylines, but they end way too fast and there are enormous amounts of glitches and graphical anomalies during gameplay. It leaves the impression that the games were pushed out too prematurely for release, and weren't given enough time for development. The one thing that keeps me going back is the multiplayer - it's quite addicting.

But, in terms of storyline, characters, and practically everything else, RE has a lot more going for it. Not only when compared to AC, but to a lot of other video game series' as well. Except for MGS of course :lecture :monkey3.
