But, in terms of storyline, characters, and practically everything else, RE has a lot more going for it. Not only when compared to AC, but to a lot of other video game series' as well. Except for MGS of course .

One thing ive noticed about MGS fans, well die hard fans is that for some reason they dont feel like they can like Both solid snake and Big boss. That they must hate Raiden. Meryl & Otacon barely get mentioned at all. MGS fans only seem to talk about Big Boss and Snake :-/

My favourite characters and settings ( Along with OST and story ) came from the Legacy of Kain games but they have fizzled out long ago. So i am boo-hoo .

I hate to break it to you, but AC is not as popular as RE. And AC is stale at this point, to me at least. I bailed on Brotherhood, I didn't even finish it.

They're fun games, but despite owning most of them, I haven't even beat the first one yet. Got too repetitive and I moved on to other things. I'll be picking it back up soon though after several years so I can finish my ACII trilogy I haven't touched.

Pretty much. I'm somewhere between a casual and hardcore fan for MGS and I'm fine with Solid, Raiden, and Big Boss

Well that just sounds like another opinion on the Internet to me. I know a lot more people into AC, and RE has been stale for a long long time now.

But do they have a strong enough fanbase that bothers to write the likes of fan-fiction and doujinshi/pairings (not the best examples, but a damn good indicator) with hardcore fans all over the world to include Europe, East Asia, and Central/South America? Not really. The Resident Evil fanbase is freakin' huge; us 1/6 collectors are but a tiny percentage of that huge and dedicated fanbase.

I just want my VGM figures pumped out regularly. Not saying they should choose one license over another, but to give out figures regularly or together instead of having one series in priority.

Yeah, it's annoying. It's a shame Hot Toys is pretty one-sided when it comes to their licenses. I just hate how other competing companies also hold licenses for the same thing (like for The Dark Knight). Really don't need 20 ****in' Jokers. Luckily, Enterbay has been doing pretty well with satisfying the consumers with characters HT will never make.
