I would so hate that Wanda and Pietro end up being Inhumans but that might be the case since we just found out that Erik isn't their dad.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled at all about that retcon. I get that they have ties to the Inhuman and the High Evolutionary, and the need to separate them from Magneto and the X-men. But I would rather have Earth 616 and the MCU separate and not have them bleed into each other.

But then long time comic book fans only make up a very small percentage of the movie going audience so...

Once they made Tony the creator of Ultron, all bets were off for me, so If they are Inhumans, so be it. :dunno

Since this show going forward from its executive is centered around the Inhumans, what would happened if the show got cancelled in the next couple of years? The movie won't be out till 2018 or 2019. How many shows nowadays survive 5 or more seasons?

Lol. All these posts about this movie being a "wash" because they don't follow the comics precisely enough make me jolly. Hahaha

That's not it at all. It's the retconning of their comic origins/properties to fit in line with the MCU that rubs me the wrong way. Maybe they'll introduce The Whizzer and Miss America? A retcon of a retcon? :dunno

EDWARD JAMES OLMOS JOINS MARVEL'S AGENTS OF SHIELD

BSG'c Olmos to cause trouble for Coulson and his team.

BY: MATT FOWLER

JANUARY 8, 2015
Battlestar Galactica's Edward James Olmos will come aboard Marvel's Agents of SHIELD for the show's big return in March.

According to Marvel.com, Olmos will play a character named Robert Gonzales, whose appearance, according to the description, "will have massive repercussions for Director Coulson and his team."

“Edward James Olmos brings an amazing gravitas to any role he inhabits, something we knew we needed for Robert Gonzales,” said Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “When Olmos first appears on our series, everyone will have to take notice--including our favorite Agents.”

So he'll just be the new Bill Paxton this season? Sounds like they are starting to get into a routine there with a big guest star baddie at the second half of the season?

Cool news, I can't wait for the show to start back up! :yess:

Yeah I recently watched all of Season 2 in one weekend to catch up for Agent Carter.... and this season is wayyy better than Season 1 and I really liked it...
Marvel usually cast good people so I like this casting choice and he was good on Battlestar
So I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of Season 2, I'm gonna watch all the episodes all at once and when I'm done... go see Avengers Age of Ultron :lol

Another good casting choice. Marvel has been on their game when it comes to casting. My favorite, not counting the movies, has been Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin. He's really a great actor and I think will be incredible in this role.
