I must say so far the second half of S3 is surprisingly nice.
It's 50/50 with the bad stuff being pretty entertaining. (the Russian part was sooo OTT cheesy, lol)
Still not as good as S1 but better than the entire S2.

Wait... wasn't S1 the worst season for the show? :D

There were some nice standout episodes this year. I especially liked the episode of Simmons in that planet.

Now that Daisy is potentially un-inhibited, I'd like to see how powerful she really is. I'm hoping her effortlessly bringing down that base is just a teaser on how powerful she really is.

Yup, she will be super powerful.....and ignored in the MCU. :slap

That is frustrating. It shouldn't just be one-way. Who cares if people who don't watch the show don't get a certain reference or don't know who a certain character is that seems to come out of nowhere. Who the **** is Black Panther to anyone who doesn't read comics and he's in a film all of a sudden.

The same thing can be applied to pretty much anyone who's not Spider-Man/Batman/Superman/Wolverine/etc. Popularity outside of the comics world doesn't mean that a character shouldn't get a feature film. Besides, the Panther is a very important comic-book character, being the first black superhero in American comics. I do agree that essentialy ignoring the TV characters is bollocks, but I don't see why a lesser-known character shouldn't get a feature film, especially if they're interesting enough to carry one.

I don't think they should get a feature film but at least be a supporting character in one. I wanna see Daisy and Bobbi in Infinity War so bad. Especially all of the Defenders.

I wasn't arguing that Black Panther shouldn't be in Civil War or isn't interesting enough or anything like that. He was just an example I used to make the point - if the reason the characters and events of Agents of Shield don't get referenced in any movies is because members of the audience won't know what the hell they're talking about or who X person is - well, what's the difference when obscure stuff from the comics goes over the same people's heads?

Probably don't want people who aren't "in the know" crying about scenes/references in a movie they don't understand. I'm just looking at it objectively. I love this show and would love a reference to it in a movie. But I just think about people like my fiancee who love the movies but won't watch an AoS episode with me. 1, she wouldn't get it. 2, she wouldn't care. 3, now there the whole "what was the point of that?"

Batman V Superman is an example for myself where I needed a DC friend to explain a lot to me. I can appreciate references, but it makes the "movie experience" a little tougher when you don't get or understand a scene.

Kind of like AoU's opening attack sequence in Sokovia and the Helicarrier scene. :D People who didn't watch AoU did not know both were set-up in the show and either thought that 1. The attack was weird (why are they all of a sudden together attacking a Hydra base) and 2. Where'd they pull that Helicarrier from? What a plot device! :D

Oh, sorry, my bad. Well, thing is, you'll introduce the Panther as yet another in a movie that millions will see, and then branch him out in another wide-release movie. With AoS, you have to take note of what the show's storyline is, synchronize with the TV department, and also have to make sure it's not too out of place. The majority watches the movies, but not all watch the shows. It can be done, but it's much harder than just introducing a new character and then letting him/her "free".

Well, Inhumans movie has been cancelled, makes me wonder if Marvel and Fox have made a deal with X-Men similar to Sony with Spiderman.

AOS is now its own thing, so either it goes full on with the popular Inhumans characters or just shuts down production.

At least Coulson has a home in the MCU, the rest..cya.

Eh, it just doesn't have a release date. It makes more sense to have it in Phase 4 after Infinity War anyway. Have the Royal family come out of "hiding" after Thanos' machinations. I doubt they're gonna scrap it and leave it to rot in Limbo.

Agreed. Having the Inhumans come out after the shenanigans of Infinity War helps Phase 4 move along, IMO.

They would in a heart beat if they got X-Men back.

They were molding Inhumans as an alternative to X-Men.

Sure, Inhumans could still come out in 2032 lol.

Exactly. Why come out just before Thanos comes into town? It makes more sense for his actions with the Gauntlet to force them to reveal themselves. They are a pretty isolated society anyway.

Nah, Fiege is an Inhumans fan and it does legitimately have a lot of potential. If anything, it'll just be one of the first films of Phase 4. There's no way they're gonna scrap it, especially since it's been a "thing" for years now, between rumors and whatnot.

True but Fox is being extremely stupid and stubborn by not working with Marvel on an amicable deal. *Waits for Nova to come in ranting*

Agreed. I highly doubt it's been scrapped.
