Also, not really a Civil War spoiler, but I can't help but compare this tiny tidbit to it:

Daisy using her quake powers was really reminiscent of how Tony uses his repulsors during the Civil War fights.

I'd have to agree with Scareb, obviously you spoiler'd it, but for those of you (like myself) who don't want to have anything spoiled at all, I'd suggest letting people know it's a spoiler for the Civil War movie and not for the AoS episode, no matter how small it is. Hope you don't take any offense but I would've preferred not to know that.

SHIELD has destroyed HYDRA then Kree landed on Earth and fought Inhumans. And yet none of it is part of the films...
Not to mention there was absolutely no connection to "Civil War" in the last episode.

While I like half of MCU stuff it's just too messy to care, so I'm done trying.
For every good thing they have there's always something wrong or plain stupid.

Thisshow just needs to end, it's a joke now that this is part of the MCU.

I agree. They should move their resources($$$) to Netflix.Start giving us 3 Shows per year in 2017. Just like the movies will. A super strong Netflix Marvel Universe is the way to go! :wink1:

It's not like I don't love the ideas and stories of this show, just that half of them are too big to be low key.
For example, prior to CW we're told that HYDRA was created in order to bring Hive back on Earth. Hive wants to recreate the process of human-to-inhuman transformation in order to control everyone. It's only logical to expect that something as big of a deal will finally bring the show and film series together, Avengers could work with SHILED to stop the Hive, Red Skull could return and Cap could finally kill him to close the trilogy.

"HYDRA was founded on the belief that humanity could not be trusted with its own freedom. What we did not realize is that if you try to take that freedom, they resist. After the war, S.H.I.E.L.D. was founded, and I was recruited. The new HYDRA grew, a beautiful parasite, inside S.H.I.E.L.D. For 70 years, HYDRA has been secretly feeding crises, reaping war. And when history did not cooperate, history was changed."

This was the perfect time to change history and merge TV stuff with movies.
But nope, can't do that... for... some reason.

Yeah, much as I like Hickman's Secret Warriors, the whole Inhumans stuff blows. Still leagues ahead of Arrow and currently Flash, but, yeah... Just cancel this and make 3 Netflix shows per year. I want my ******* Moon Knight and Ghost Rider shows!

I think the battles of Coulson's team and Shield in general are becoming too big to make sense within this contained universe. At this point how could the Avengers not know about Shield, Inhumans, Lash, and especially Hive. This guy is running a TOWN of people. This is where it's starting to get "messy." For example, WARNING: CIVIL WAR SPOILER

How can Tony Stark be the ONLY person in the world to figure out who Spider-Man is but not know about someone like Hive who's planning to control the entire world.

All that said though, I really do like this show and wouldn't want to see it canned. It's just getting hard to see where the line gets drawn between Coulson and team battles vs Avengers battles.

:exactly:

Just bring Coulson back to where he belongs, in the MCU. He's too good an actor and character to throw away.

The rest, just shut it down, its just embarrassing now.

Lol I wouldn't say all that. I honestly just wish there could be a way to make them co-exist.

It's tricky, if he goes back to the MCU, we get nowhere near the same amount of Coulson. He's back to being Nick Fury and Maria Hill's assistant.

I just don't know where the show goes from here. It can't simply just keep amping up the stakes...

But I'm biased I suppose. I enjoy the weekly chance to sit down and just watch a show I enjoy. Between work, school, my fiancee and daughter, I take little joys out of getting an hour of designated "me time" a week. AoS is one of those things :lol

Think about how absurd its become though.

SHIELD agents have traveled to another PLANET (that DID NOT involve Jane Foster and Thor) and brought back a monster connected to Hydra yet it doesn't even get a passing mention in any MCU movie! :slap

I'll say it again, they traveled to another planet! :lol

To be fair, no one knows outside of SHIELD and Hydra that they traveled to another planet. No one knows outside of SHIELD and Hydra about Hive either.

If there is anything to gripe about, its that some people in the show are starting to be Avengers-level in terms of power and proficiency. Daisy/Quake can probably take out half the Avengers team if she wanted to. :D

Lmao I hear you loud and clear. It doesn't make sense that the Avengers wouldn't know any of this! But don't you dare take away my favorite show! :lol

The Avengers not knowing Coulson is still alive and running SHIELD is by far the most unbelievable part of the show now. Coulson is very out in the open and not exactly hiding. They've got to stubble upon his existence at some point. And that is something the show desperately needs - Avengers dropping in to really tie this to the MCU. Or at least get Hill and Fury to drop in a few times a season. We got that in season 1 and then they just vanished (Fury is hiding, I get it, but Hill shouldn't be). Honestly, I've only kept watching in hopes there will be a pay off. The inhumans movie seemed like that pay off, but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore. Its almost as if they are trying to avoid bringing this show into the MCU now. Winter Soldier had a HUGE impact on season 1 and those episodes after Winter Soldier happened were the best of the entire series for me. Now we barely get a mention of a falling city or a patch of London torn up on the show. I'm doubtful they even mention Civil War next week at this point.

As much as I'd like CW to be tied into this, it seems like it would be simply to show that the universe is linked. As far as what's going on with Hive vs Shield, CW SPOILER
the Sokovia Accords have nothing to do with what's happening in AoS. The accords were only created to keep the Avengers in check. Unlike the comic event where ALL superheros were being forced to register. So it's not like it affects Daisy and the other Inhumans anyway. At least at this point. Maybe they could make it work if they mentioned it in passing like "if the Avengers can be torn apart then so can we (Daisy and team)" type of deal.

Apparently the Accords cover all enhanced humans (or Inhumans) based on the previews for the final episode.

the last episode was such a huge let down - borderline stupidity. lets see...

After spending seasons building up about the Kree mystery, and hive making Kree the scariest baddest mofo out there and only thing that can kill him, not to mention kree actually created the inhumans, and the 2 kree coming are the most dangerous kind of kree!

When the confrontation everyone's been waiting for finally happened, what did we get? - 2x blue man group look alike landed right into hive's trap...acted like morons without any intelligences or technology/power....gets into a silly fist fight then quickly and easily got beaten by both hive and skye - who should have been squashed like an ant by the kree. The end.... wtf? It's like fighting a bunch hydra fodders.

fail....just fail
