I saw All Hail The King when it was first posted here the other day. It's a step in the right direction, I'm still hoping that Trevor's Mandarin is based on the appearance of the real Mandarin because what was shown in the IM3 trailers was fantastic. I hope we get an IM4 in the future.

If you chaps are having problems with the Marvel continuity what must y'all think of the X-men movies. Those are chock full of inconsistencies.

And terrible costumes.

ATM, the only "continuity issues" are the fabrications of critical overthinking. Everything still flows nicely.

I thought you took a different stance on those films. You're a fan? So am I, I just have trouble with a few little things....like Hank MCoy appearing in X2 as a human but is Beast in First Class.

I was referring to the Marvel Studios films ONLY. Spider-****** blows donkeys, X-Men ATM is a mind**** of WTF and FF is almost as laughably bad as what WB's doing with their cinematic DCU ATM.

I didn't realize that Marvel had added AoS to their timeline, so even once those other franchises get righted (if ever) are they ever going to be so ambitious as to interweave a TV show into not only their Universe, but have it paced alongside the movies with a published timeline. Good on Marvel keeping this stuff updated, I thought they were only releasing info as each phase completed, I didn't realize they are updating as they go along. IM3 took place the month after Thor2, so it'll be interesting to see where Cap2 gets placed in the timeline.

If the Marvel wikia rumors of a couple of the AoS guys having cameos in CA2 are correct, this will be a big boost to the show. I'm also wondering how much of the Cap 2 fallout may be shown onscreen in AoS, as you and JYE pointed out, their "Thor 2 tie in" was a fumble, if they get this right, it would put the show back on the map big time.

I think Deathlok will handle that aspect just fine. The tie-ins are just gravy after that.

Yeah, the show's debut wasn't the most ideal. With breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now Olympics programming, there's little consistency.

Yah, the timing for AoS was kinda bad....now the Winter Olympics is interfering with the shows momentum......but I think after the Olympics is over they will hopefully keep the schedule going with no more loooooong waits!

I got caught up yesterday, and I must say that I love where it's headed. It's definitely getting better, but my favorite part had to be Coulson talking to May and saying "No more secrets; I'm tired of all the secrets." I was shouting, in my mind, "Thank you, Agent Phil! You've said what we've all been thinking for the past 11 episodes!"
