me too, and i live on the 25th floor of a sealed apartment. If i left anything out in the open it gets covered with dust within a week, no idea where they come from!
all my statues are inside completely sealed acrylic display cases or curio - not the cabinet kind where dust can still get in from the cracks between the two doors but the ones with sliding glass that shut air tight.
I also bought a $300 whirlpool air purifier recently, consumer reports highest rated air cleaner, hopefully that will further reduce dust.
nothing is too much for my statues!

wining ohh and the gas in denmark is around 2.38$ for a gallon(half pound) not sure, expensive:-(
