I was able to attend the Frankenstein event at the New Beverly earlier this week. It was a friggin' rad night.

Seeing King Karloff on the big screen was amazing. Might be the only chance in my life to see Frank '31 as it was intended to be seen. Drew Struzan was in attendance and told some good stories. The fans really enjoyed the little mini Q&A Justin from Mondo did with him.

The print is ever-loving brilliant. A "must own" in my eyes if you're a Uni Monster guy and/or love Struzan's work. As tomandshell said, they sold a few more than 75... pretty much everyone there who wanted one got one. I heard one person at the end of the night say they sold 89. Can't confirm that, but I heard it. There really wasn't a huge mob there, which surprised me. Maybe 150 people tops (the theater was a bit less than half full).

I wish i could have gone. I would love to see Frankenstein on the big screen and get the poster :monkey2

Wow! Damn! I would have been so down for that whole experience. Thanks as always for sharing Swabie. So jealous here!

Did you get one though? Or pass? ;)

I hate to ask but, Is someone here on these boards welling to help me score the Mondo Struzan Frankenstein Poster? The 3 Karloff Frankenstein Films and the Karloff The Mummy poster are the ONLY ones that I ever plan on collecting.

This is what kills me about Mondo. Their print runs are so small that some true fans like Nick are unable to get them for retail. :gah:

$285 is correct.

Nick, this is a 1000% must for you. One of Mondo's best prints ever featuring your favorite actor of all-time on it.

I have picked up most of the classic Trek posters, but I don't think anything from Voyager would make it onto the wall. So I will pass this time. No need to spend money on something that will just sit in the closet.

Last I checked, it was like 15 minutes up and still IN STOCK...guess everybody's feeling what we are feeling and not picking it up LoL
