Yeah I am not really feeling this print. It is cool, but not something I would hang.

Does each artist have to get the likeness? Or if Mondo was able to get it would all artists who make posters for them able to use the likeness? Silly question I am sure, but reason I am asking is because in the Evil Dead print https://www.google.com/imgres?imgur...=eWxgUbG2FIfI2wWjhYFA&ved=0CDUQ9QEwAQ&dur=303 they have ash on it.

Rights and such can always be fun. Some movies you can get all the rights (movie and likenesses and such) all rolled into one. Sometimes you gotta get likenesses separately. I know the original Evil Dead and Army of Darkness are owned by different companies, so that may have to do with it. Also, there's a chance that the Evil Dead poster they did earlier is from before they were a "legit" company and paid for licenses and such.

Or yeah, maybe they didn't want to put Bruce in there. But in all honesty, I can't see them not putting him in there unless they couldn't.

And Mondo is the one that does all the license dealing. They then tell the artist what they can and cannot go.

I... LOVE... THAT... PRINT! I actually like that it doesn't have Ash on it. I'm tempted.

Thanks :hi5: I honestly never knew how those types of things worked.

I hope for the ones who aren't able to go and really like this print can pick one up for a good price!

I got it last night at the KC show and the detail is unreal. It has the "Army of Darkness" depicted pretty well. I created a fake poster as a joke a few hours before the show and freaked some people out on the EB thread.

Cant please everyone, but there were 425 made and only at most 112 of us at the screening.. that leaves a bunch for the online drop (unless they are selling some at the KC comic con).

But isn't Evil Ash the same as Ash? Same guy played both characters.

It's things like that that confuse me as well. You COULD say that the makeup and design belongs to the movie company that paid for it. Obviously you can't copyright a person's general appearance, as that may constitute slavery. But honestly, I'm no copyright expert, so who knows.

Does mondo usually send out a shipping noticed with tracking? I saw in my account that the Drive vinyl has shipped, but I never received an email or tracking number.

My order still says processing. The only other thing I ever bought from Mondo was an ET print and I did receive a shipping email with tracking.

I'm trying to get one for my fellow freak. I wasn't able to get Drive for SSC but so glad he was able to find help through here. YAY.

I want to get an Army of Darkness print. Glad it isn't doing too well on ebay. Maybe I'll have a shot when it drops.
