The regular is darker and has a certain mood. I can see the appeal of it. However, the orange/yellow background on the variant reminds me of the explosion of a atomic bomb blast. It's very rare that I prefer a variant over a regular. I'm almost always all about the regular versions.

I like your thinking.

Bottom line: Owning one or the other is now A MUST! There is no alternative!

JC Richard's Prometheus print goes on sale today @ 2pm for $45 at the MONDO booth. If anyone is kind enough to pick one up for me I would greatly appreciate it!

No hard feelings if you don't, SDCC is a mess and I understand that those attending all have their own priorities getting other things while at the show. But I figure it doesn't hurt to ask!
