It's remarkable to think that Sigourney Weaver is worked into that sculpt, this piece deffinately shows how much a paint job can really damage a sculptor's work, I understand the licensing politics, but man what a shame that work has to be done on this expensive figure to bring out what lies beneath. If I keep my power loader order, I'll deffinately do some touch up to Ripley, that's assuming I won't have to cancel for funds issues, but it's Q4 from Sideshow so hopefully I'll be ok by then.

dont forget also that Les is the master of repainting things to LOOK like someone. He made the generic female Art S. Buck figure look like Ripley too.

Thanks for the link. I swung by echobase shortly after the first link was posted, and the owner said they all of a sudden got a rush of orders for the jacket, and sold out the few they had.

I said to myself those Freak'n Freaks.

Posted my HT Ripley and Newt in my Customs thread, but here's the FAMILY shot, not covered there.

Been repainting Ripley since I got her Monday. She was tough. Has a mouth and face structure a bit like a Gelfling from THe Dark Crystal...but is almost there...

Wait, I just ordered one from them today. Soon after I ordered, they posted that the jacket is sold out on the site. Did you ask today or was it a few days ago? I received the order summery from Echo Base, but not sure if they would send that even though they're already soldout.

I also contacted them today and was told the A-2 jacket was sold out just today. The site now reflects this. Guess some freaks got there first.

When did you call or receive the email? I sent them an email earlier today and haven't heard anything back yet. I really hope it either gets sent or canceled fast, I'll have to get mine through that auction then and they're going fast.

As of 2 pm today they weren't sold out. By the time I got to work and checked it was sold out. That's when I found the ebay auction.
