I strongly advise asking here in the "want to buy" section. I checked everywhere and almost gave up on a affordable Vasquez at this point until someone here gave me a good deal and hooked me up with one. En route as I type this!

Yeah they only have that one for $127, I asked if they had Hicks just to let people know if they did. They're legit, I've bought a few things from them.

Got Ripley earlier (from Alter Ego) and she's great! I'm not sure about a repaint, I think of all the figures I own, she is the first I've serioulsy considered going that route on. I think I'll have to sit with her a few days and see how I feel.

But overall another excellent figure from Hot Toys! Can't wait to get the Warrior from Aliens

off subject from what you guys are discussing -
but I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of some of the Hot Toys Alien figures......not stock photos, but actual shots from thier display showing off some of the flexibilty of these figures. I looking for pictures of both the brown Alien and black/grey Alien figures.

I am planning on buying one right now but am not sure if I should buy the black/grey Alien - or buy the Sideshow Brown Exclusive Alien(which comes with the face hugger)

If I buy the Brown it will be $147 but if I buy the black/grey it will be $96

Either way this will be my first Hot Toys figure for any line......could you guys/gals give me some advice and help with this, I could really use it

Pics of both aliens are buried in this thread... but someone did post a lot of pictures of the black alien and all its articulation and this thing can be put into almost any pose... even the torso is "bendy".

I don't think you'll be unhappy with either. If its a money issue, go for the cheaper black alien.

If money is not an issue, grab the brown. Its value may go up in time.

I posted a few demonstrations a couple of pages back, I updated it and will re post it here:

I've only taken one picture of my Brownie, I plan on taking more demonstrating the poseability for a friend.
It's a very boring standing pose showing the size differences:

By the way, all the toes, fingers, and tail have bendy wires in them, allowing each to be posed individually. There's a ton of articulation in the torso.

there is no way I was gonna pass that up!! Im a HUGE Alien series fan and that is the one Hot Toys figure I was hoping to see them do. I preordered without hesitation!

it was the alien figures from AVP that I am unsure about, only because I hated what was done with that movie - it could have been so much beter in so many ways......and one of the things I did not like about that movie was the way the Preds and Aliens looked.......just a little too Hollywood for me. However.......they are still Alien figures and they do look pretty freakin cool....so I am leaning towrds taking the plunge and buying one....most likley the brown exclusive. Only problem is my lack of funds right now....I pre-ordered a BOBA PF (which I am considering sending back when I get it) and the Yoda 1:1 bust (which I cannot wait for!!). Plus I am going to be buying some medicom Star Wars VCD figures as well. MY PLATE IS FULL!!! dont know what to do!!! AHHHHH!!

Do you own any HT Preds??

I got SCAR because he was the closest to the original Predator. I have to say, that figure is awesome! Really well made to say the least. Even if I get a Pred 1 figure one day, I'll still have no regrets I got Scar.

It will be worth the wait. believe me, I'm as impatient as the rest of you. But I've learned from the past. I hate buying figures that I know in my gut are just filler until what I really want comes along.

The ALIENS warrior is going to be the one everybody will be army building with so it's going to sell out eventually. The ALIEN Alien everybody will probably only be buying one of but there will be so many more people buying that one than AVP. I suspect you will be seeing a lot more people trying to sell their AVP warriors on ebay by then and you could probably pick it up at a bargain then.
