Is anybody else still waiting for their Ripley from Alter Ego? Drake and Hudson arrived a coulple of days ago, but still waiting for Ripps! Was she backordered or something? I'm having a hard time being patient!!!

Did you get your figs from Alter Ego yet? Mine didn't come yesterday like the tracking # said it would, in fact it appears to be stuck in Indiana and it's reallly starting to tick me off.

I got a tracking number yesterday, but I'm afraid it may only be the extra Boromir I ordered. I won't know till it gets here, but it COULD be Ripley...I HOPE it's Ripley...it friggin' BETTER be Ripley!!! Sorry, guys. I'm startin' to lose it with all this waiting around!

On the subject of drones and warriors.
I think it's a fan-made distinction, people usually refer to the Nostromo alien as a drone and the rest as warriors.

Anyway, I wanted to share a couple of pics of my repainted Apone:

I think he turned out very very good!
Looks a lot more like Apone than I thought was possible.

I met a fellow WWII colector who started out as a model builder, and he does all my repaints.

I don't think there's any reason or meaning for Drake's beads. I remember the doc on the Aliens film said that Cameron gave them free reign to customize their armor any way they wanted to. So these are just some beads the guy used to make him look distinct.

It showed up! I finally got my Drake from Alterego and my Apone from Toys2 came today also. WOO HOO!
So now I've got Drake, Apone and Hudson all still safely in thier boxes waiting for Vasquez to arrive from TOYNK(an ebay store puchase).
Can't wait to sit down and put them all together.
