I got one of those and am not too happy with it. Too small and not a good, well made body. If I may, his a$$ falls apart. Literally! I mean, there's these weird plastic wedges, set in each of his a$$cheeks, that just, well, fall out...

Plus he's way too dark for Drake.

No more of those bodies for me.

Hope to find a nice Drake body soon myself. A HT Drake body.

You can work your magic on the HS, I have no doubt. The body... well... look at it this way.... at least it's not a BUCK!

That is a Hot Toys muscle body from one of their first SDU figures. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this body. Not just for the reasons stated above. The early HT muscle bodies were made from an inferior rubber that deteriorated and cracked with minimal use. Here are a couple pics of the type of damage I'm talking about. These are my HT DEVGRU figure.

I held out -- as much as I was dying for an alien by HT -- and then the Aliens announcement. I still don't have any HT alien, but I'm happy to wait for the one I really want. If you get an alien now, once the warrior arrives, you'll just wish you waited. ...

Besides... what if a Giger Alien is announced in the next few months?

I'd buy it. Instantly. What a question!


BUT if I would have known about it's release, I probably wouldn't have bought the two AvP Aliens. Or maybe just one, the brown one. Both are really great, (best 15" Aliens out there at the moment), but I still say the AvP movie sux sux sux. The Aline design is nice though. NOT like the original Giger design, but close.
that's why I don't regret buying the AvP Aliens. They look cool, no matter what.

It could be a Very Hot body, but it is the same as the bodies Hot Toys used on their early DEVGRU and SDU figures. Very Hot copied the Early SDU figures as their first release.

A question for those of you that have Drake. How can his head be switched to a regular HT body? Also, does anyone stateside sell any of the loose gear unis from the marines? Shipping for small parts from overseas is a killer.

Check ebay, there is a Seller called blackops toys who sells parted out Hot toys Aliens stuff and there are a few other Asian Dealers... I'm sure we'll see more parted out listings now that these fig have been released...

As for Drake's head, it will only fit on the fixed ball joint neck of a Muscular body from what I can tell...

Thanks. I've been looking thru Blackopstoys stuff but it doesn't look like he's got much Alien/Predator stuff now. The rest of the ebayers seem to mostly be overseas.
