Seriously, this line will build with Drake and especially Ripley, she'll sell out super-fast. The HT owner is a confirmed Aliens nut-job, just like some of us!

Exactly what I was thinking pjam...5 HT ALIENS 12" figures, 2 HT Robocop figures (including the HUGE ED-209), COUNTLESS SS SW 12" figures (all announced so far on pre-order...can't imagine one that I WON'T want to get!), 2 LOTR SS 12" figures (and however many more or released!)...Man, where am I gonna find the shelf space??? Well, I'll be ditching ALL my HASBLOW 12" SW figures now (the 5 or 6 I have...) That'll clear a little room...LOL!

Same here....I have about 15 figures on pre-order,both HT & SS,and have NO idea were the hell I'am going to put any of them ...This summer I have to do some major re-organizing....

That's why, as much as it breaks my heart, I have to back off of the marines to focus on HT Batman, Star Wars, Predators, Terminators, still waffling on Robocop, the Aliens when they come out... I just can't do the marines -- maybe Ripley (and the eventual Newt for sure)... but not the whole gang...

Once I saw that preview pic of Ripley, I went ahead and ordered the Marines.
Ed-209 and Robo had to grace my shelves, since I never finished the Horizon Kit. The recent pics with Drake and Ripley have me really excited for the upcoming Aliens figures. The one thing that stood out to me was the Elder Predator. I waffled for a good long while, but preorder the Celtic and Scar Predator, as I am doubtful that we will get a classic one.

Once I settle down from the recent rash of preorders, I gotta order the replacement heads, because Snipes/Apone will never look right, and Hicks as done by Hot Toys just looks too generic.

It is just a giant 80's Sci-Fi love fest!!!

I would kill for some great 1/6 Tron stuff though.

I doubt we'll see Bishop anytime soon, but would love a breakaway body Bishop. Let's hope Hudson is also announced as the next set of 3.

I have absolutely no problem with HT Hicks as is -- there is a great review by Jeff Parker in Michael Crawford's archives but I hear ya, once he is next to Ripley, it might be time to get one from lonnieronniedonnie @ Frontline.

I wish you were with us Seaward when we ordered the Apone heads but if you act quick, order him from Frontline and Custom Mikey will paint him for you for only $15, if you act by May 19.

Agreed Wor-Gar and Seward...There's no WAY I ever could have imagined such an onslaught of HIGH-END collectible figures that I've wanted since I was a kid from fave films of the 80s! 1/6 ALIENS marines, 1/6 ROBOCOP and ED-209, High-quality 1/6 STAR WARS figures...Man, all i need now to complete my 80's want list is a high-quality set of the 4 GHOSTBUSTERS from the original film, and Marty and Doc in various outfits from the 3 BACK TO THE FUTURE films...WOW!

Oh, and Wor-Gar, I'm sure we're not alone with the dream of a 1/6 and 1/4 INDIANA JONES from RAIDERS! I have a 'sneaky' suspicion that SS will launch an Indy line with the release of Indy 4...There's certainly enough people on this board that would JUMP on anything Indy...and SS already has one Lucasfilm license paying off...why not another one!

Yeah, I should've gone in on the big group order, but I have been stressed to the gills. My car got hit while parked and the "hitter" said she wanted to avoid insurance. Since my car has almost 200,000 miles on it, I figured this could be a blessing. After an estimate proved that it would be a costly repair, she elected to pursue insurance, so I have been working double, and without a car, so I haven't been around much this week.

Given the quality of Mikey's work, I still think at the higher cost it is a steal!!! I don't think I would have it in me to paint it myself!

HAHA! I hope you're right pjam...I have a GREAT custom 1/6 Indy, but a series of SS Indy figures would be beyond AMAZING!!!

Sorry to hear about your auto woes there Seaward. That's a bummer! We'll definitely make sure that you get in on the next round of custom head ordering/painting...Perhaps for Lonnie's Hicks sculpt?
