I have a special way of sealing the heads so they can take a bit more play, but you should never ever get them wet. Ever.

Really? Are you joking?

Your avatar always makes me think you're laughing at me.

I'm not joking. There's no reason to get them wet anyway. These are resin, so it's pointless to try to heat them in boiling water. Why? Were you planning on displaying this in water? If so, I can just spray it with the acrylic sealer. Of course, that wouldn't help much, either...

Oh, and I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing next to you.

Yes, but will it withstand concentrated acid? :lol

Yes, Mikey, that tiny, tiny underwear. Amazing isn't it? Anyway, a good occasion for me to bring up that scene, where Ripley, after abandoning the Nostromo in the escape ship Narcissus, slowwwwly steps into a clean, white space suit ... designed by the Belgian comic legend MOEBIUS. What a breath taking scene that is.
I'm a huge Moebius fan. I also like the work Ron Cobb and Chis Foss contributed. And I think I started collecting anything I could on Giger even before the movie came out. I have first editions of most of his books. As an artist, I really appreciate Alien from a design aspect.

With HT doing the robocops and Predators, can you imagine if they took on doing the spacesuits from the First Alien? Now THAT would be some 1/6 bliss!

Why'd you have to bring that up? Now I'm obsessing about an ALIEN spacesuit.

:google

Do they come as two packs? I may have to snag some of these to get the 1/6 scale eggs!!! PleasePleasePlease Hot Toys make a 1/6 scale Ripley, Alien Space Suit, and can have a plastic rocket...

Well, as you can see, Ripley and Drake are there in their miniature versions of the upcoming 1/6th figures. I wonder why they picked Drake over Hudson? There's no license issue with the face sculpts as they could just give Hudson a goatee. :D

HAHAHA!!! Heck, they could have done the same thing with the Robocop figure...you want him with a removable helmet but there are issues with getting a license for a Peter Weller sculpt??? All together now..."Give Him a GOATEE!!!"

:D

Agreed! I'm not picking up the Aliens figures, but if figures from the first movie were made it would be a different story.

Hey Mikey...any news on you-know-what? :D

I am safely home and will get started on painting them tomorrow. Pics as soon as possible. I'm sorry for the wait, but the dayjob got in the way.

On the upside, I've already spent your money. :lol

I picked up the Box Set of the Alien movies....for research.

Well done on the Box set, but "Alien" and "Aliens" are the only ones in my box set until someone (maybe even yours truly) can launch "Alien Planet".

I highly recommend the "Aliens" Director's Cut Collectors Edition 2 disk set for anyone interested, 20 min of additional footage and plenty of extras.
