Really? Very cool. I was going to do that as a bit of customizing -- but HT beat me to it. Now that's pretty darn neat.

Thanks! I haven't put mine together yet but I'm compiling info from others who have so all this is helpful.
Yeah mine is also oriented right side up so you can see the readout printed on the cylinder.

A couple of quick pics of Vasquez and an overloaded Ripley. Not sure how I'd like to display Rip just yet so I threw everything on.

Note the missing charging handle on Vasquez's M56A2 Smart Gun. :monkey2

I'm not sure where to look for the "charging handle"... but you have the most bizarre time stamp on your photos that I have ever seen.
Sorry, it's the c o c k i n g handle on the outside of the weapon next to the Adios sign. It is also referred to as a charging handle and ****ing handle gets censored.

I have no idea how to fix the date stamp, I guess I should read the manual. :lol

Oh, I see it -- that cylinder thing. You could probably glue any old piece of Dragon leftover do-dad there and no one would know.

Yeah, how does a date stamp even get to 15 months? :lol

It's a reeeally cheap camera. I have to take a dozen photos just to get the few semi-clear ones that I post.

Pix aren't bad though. My camera is 6 years old now and beginning to feel it. Its hard to get good close-ups and crisp pictures. Time to upgrade.

I'm also torn on how to "dress" Ripley. I have the same jacket, and was planning to do what you've done essentially. Not much choice. Either that, or toss the bomber jacket and blue coat and try the "into the hive" look.... I just hate to spend good money and not use everything the figure comes with.

I'm also trying to find replacement hands for her -- the gloves bug me. So far, I can't find any HT female hands. Maybe in time.

Look again, it's taped onto Ripley's Pulse Rifle. I'm not sure about Hudson though, I don't own one.

Yep thanks for the heads up:lol But it is missing from Hudson, cant seem to see it anywhere on his person or the box.

The only Hot Toys female that has ungloved hands is the USMC 3RD Force Service support group figure:

I'm not sure if the body is any different or the hand connection for the matter, since I don't own one.
About the camera, I wish it took better closeups, the ones you see is as close as I could get without being unfocused. If I want better closeups, I need to upgrade too. I also fixed the date time stamp, yeah that month part is ridiculous. :lol

That's excellent -- those hands are perfect! But I can't spend $109 on hands. Damn! I'll find them somewhere. But thanks for the link. At least I now know they exist.

Patience Wor-Gar. Keep an eye on ebay. Some loose bodies are bound to turn up.

That's very Jedi-like, Dave. I thought you were a Kurgan? You should have said: Stop your whining! Victory only comes to those who kill!

Or something like that... :D

But yeah, my eyes are always on ebay.

That is a nice pose for Vaz! (Isn't that an arm band that's slipped down around her elbow?) With all her gear on the lack of flesh on her arms isn't quite so noticeable. Maybe somebody will think of a way to add a little meat to her arms without making her look like "Brundlefly"!:D
