Wow, that Bishop head looks almost alive up close! I'm glad to see someone is into doing 'real' hair and making it look that good. Since he's a one of a kind, it looks like we'll have to hope that HA will kindly whip up a remodeled Frank Black as Bishop hs for us then. Anyway, can't wait to see what he looks like when he's complete.

Yep, unfortunately the Customizer only made 2 of these heads and mentioned this was his last but other Skilled guys can add hair too, don't know about the "moveable eyes" feature though, that seems to be a special skill...

Anyway, here's a day shot of Bishop, same pose (overcast here) You can see he's not quite 100% yet BUT close! :D

The hair looks pretty good but moveable eyes are pretty creepy. That's a feature I could do without.

You have no idea what you're missing dude, seriously. It's not creepy, looks normal, except you can move them, it's far more versatile figure, imagine being able to pose with adjustable eyes, way of the future my friend. Arnie Kim's done it with his Bruce Lee, that to me is the cutting edge of high end sixth scale design...

At that point you might as well have a 1:6 Bishop android with real working motor servers for his facial expressions and voice chip that would look like the animatronic Bishop from Alien3.

:lol Oooh, and arms that articulate and legs too! Just like a real person... yiikes! And my god his head moves, how creepy is that!

You can move the eyes or not, that is an option, a versatile one, why be happy with eyes that are stuck in one position?

I love this feature... any added articulation for greater poseability is a plus in my book, adds value to the overall piece... it's not like they move on their own like some Haunted House painting, that would be creepy, it's all about poseability in this case and it's friggin' cool as hell to me but that's just me.

Didn't hear any of this talk when Bruce Lee GOD was released, all I heard was WOW, you can move his eyes too for added poseability. Majority opinion @ SDCC Enterbay Booth. Way of the future...

Easy there, p. I'm not debating moving eyes vs. static eyes, just saying that it really doesn't matter much to me. As long as the figure looks like the character its representing that's good enough for me. To make it any more lifelike is just going a bit over the top. I generally don't like real-hair either but your Bishop is an exception of how real-hair can be done well. I didn't care much for Xenovipers real-hair BD Terminator, just didn't look quite right to me for some reason. It's a give and take. For some things it works and others it doesn't, but Bishop is one of the better examples I've seen.

For Hudson's bandage I just used some athletic tape.

That's cool! So you don't need loose cloth then. That would solve this for more folks. You might need to spell out what you did then, for those wanting the bandages. Might be a lot easier than my approach.
Remember, that's what I thought you used Les? It seemed like a much easier approach to me. I'm gonna have to do that too after I get mine 'DarkArtist Dirtied'!! :rock

No worries Bro, it's cool, I get where you're coming from. It's just that I am so stoked over this Bishop, it is probably one of my favorite pieces now and having the ability to change his expression for different poses is NEW to me and I'm diggin' on it... plus I JUST put him together. I really do recommend having this "moveable eye" option, it is just another step forward the way I see it and this guy completes my "Magnificent 7" Aliens Collection. And you're right I wouldn't want these esthetics on very many pieces, this is an exception, after all he is a "Synth" .

I prefer the term "Artificial Person" myself. :D

Looks that way P!

Possibly the next generation of 1:6 headsculpts? That would be awesome! You have a gem there bud. :rock

Watching the commentary now. One thing I noticed is that the marine armor has a semi-reflective sheen that makes the plastic armor on the figures seem pretty flat and dull. Could probably use a semi-gloss coat to make it look more like real armor.

Anybody consider using Drake's rubber body for Hicks? Might look better with the BDU sleeves rolled up higher under the shoulder pads.

Yee-Haw! Finally scored a Vasquez for $99.99 on the 'Bay! :D I know, I should have scored it when it came out for $89.00, but I'll take it now for an extra $11 for being such a slacker. I've been seeing Vasquez go oin the 'Bay lately for $160 or more! Glad I got my Hicks when it came out...the prices he's going for now are INSANE!!!

I hate you.

To those of you still looking for a Hicks, God be with you, one just sold on ebay for $294.00!!! :google

I was following this, a few days ago it was only $180 which is high but knowing the rarity of this figure, seemd ok, then when I saw it at like $270 I walked away, not worth it. Guess I'll just cross fingers for the Sideshow Wait List, but that too is unlikely.

This bears repeating. Thanks so much Brother DBoz!
