Remember at Toyfair, they teased us with a bunch of blank boxes that were filled later with previously announced items. So 3 of those boxes could be the Alien and 2 new Predators.

Here's something curious I found at RS...

It looks like a SCAR Predator that someone has rigged up to look more like the Original Predator (notice the chest and shoulder armor on his right side has been removed - I know the bladed gauntlet is on the wrong arm). But, in a strange way, even his mask looks a little different to me...maybe I'm just wishing.

Also, where'd they get that ALIEN head on his staff? That's cool.

You know, I must say.... that Hot Toys has a new fanboy in me. Their sculpts may be a little below my usual Sideshow standard, but the costumes and that wonderful body is what has sold me on their product. HT Hicks is my first figure from them, with Superman/Batman on the way... And I know this is only the beginning.

The armor and weaponry for the Marines is top notch, truly magnificent work. The poseability is amazing and I can not stop looking at him on the shelf. The kit body was a little tricky at first, but I got him together, the only real snag was the torso piece... It took me most of the time I spent just on that one area. But overall, not too bad. I love this figure!!

I hope that they make Hudson....

Thanks Pjam! yeah, I see we should have Ripley and Drake for sure.. But man I want a Hudson. Just watched the movie again last night and was reminded of how much I loved that character.

I would hope we'd see Hudson to complete the Marines/Ripley line but not expecting it, they announced the first as a set of three. We'll know in a week!

I believe the one on the left with the severed Alien head is the Predator from the flash back sequence in AVP. Might be a third new Predator coming down the pike.

So, has a Ripley been confirmed yet? My budget (along with my wide range of figure tastes ) prohibit me buying all the marines. HOWEVER, if they are making a Ripley, I must have her and Hicks (along with Newt if they ever make her.. but I seriously doubt that). I want to start tracking down a Hicks if so. However, do not want to spend all that money without some kind of confirmation on Ripley.

I could have sworn Weaver wouldn't license her Ripley likeness. Back when McFarlane was making the Movie Maniacs and they made Hicks, fans begged for a Ripley too. Reply back was they were unable to obtain the actress's rights. Which typically means either A.) they refused ala Clive Owen and Del Toro for Sin City or B.) they asked for too much money.

I'm not sure, but I always thought the licensing issue with Weaver was over the use of guns. But then again, there was a Alien Resurrection figure put out by Hasbro that came with two big honking guns.

Sorry Pjam, but I just picked up on this thread today... and while I tried to remain vigilant... 60 pages is lots of reading. Figured it was just easier to ask than try to sift through the backlog. Possibly a little lazy, though. And if that offended anyone, I apologize.

So, can anyone suggest somewhere to get the Hicks for 100 or less? Also, where is usually the cheapest place to prepurchase these for when the Ripley gets released.
