I agree on the price, I was 99% certain I'd be getting this guy, and looked forward to it's reveal for a long time, but it's too much money! Doubly so given the questionable quality we've seen coolprops delivery so far. Plus it's always worrying with big chap items especially as there's absolutely nothing you can do to fix the paint under the dome without major surgery.

As for the second point, we've seen lots of complaints about this being just a head. The thing is, this isn't a bust (despite what I named the thread lol) it's a prop and that is all it's ever claimed to be. In that sense it has succeed as it's arguably the most accurate big chap collectible we've ever seen. I'd love one of these. That said, I do whole heartedly agree with you that the Sideshow LSB's are more interesting, and have more life to them. They can't even begin to compare to this in terms of accuracy etc, and the production pieces were fairly dodgy (the Big chap more so) But what I wouldn't give for a couple of busts with the accuracy of this coolprops BC in the design style of these...

Nice photo! I ordered myself a Big Chap the other day, my first Alien collectible! I imagine I'll be picking up the warrior eventually, but I think I'll have to get the "Alien Pile" by sideshow first, that piece looks amazing!

Graaaats dude. For the price, IMHO it's great value for the dollar...provided you get a good one. Myself....it's my fav. Piece in my collection.

Here's another view of the size difference:

The dome really adds a lot....

I have ordered this bust and I am very confident about the final result.
If I don't like it, I have 14 days to give it back.

An adventure would be to pass on this one and then regret no to order it when I had the chance.

A lot of money? Yeah it is, that's why I sold everithing in my colletion to aford this new bust.

I expect a high quality collectible at that price. Hope it will be awesome but if not if not, I will send it back to coolprops and I will have 2300€ in my account:)

I won't loose money and I am not loosing the oportunity of buying this.

You have no shipping costs if you send this thing around the world?:wink1:

not at all. I buy in my country to a local seller.Law protects me when I buy something through internet:- I have 14 days since I receive it at home to send it back if I dont like it, if I change my mind or whatever. Like if you buy phisically in a shop; these are rights from costumers (at least in my country). Of course I wilI pay shipping costs to send it back, but to my coutry or in that case to my city...That's why I prefer to pay more instead of buying directly to SS: to be sure I wont have extra charges with customs and fees first of all, and to feel sure that if I have any problem, I can deal directly with someone who speaks my language and from my country: that means no shiping costs from sending this thing around the world (I would have to send it back to the shop who will give me back my money and deal directly whith its supplier, coolprops..whoever). we are paying fortunes for these busts and I hope everything will be allright with them but if not, at least I am protected:)

buying this bust to SS it is aprox 1650€ buying it to the local seller 2350€ (and this because they have a 15% discount, if not: 2799€...)Busts should be really really awesome I believe, right?:)

When I say send it back to coolprops I mean that at the end coolprops would receive a bust from an unsatisfied customer, but if I am buying it from an internediate, I will deal directly with him. I have advantages and disadvantages doing like this but for me...is worth it! :)

Ah ok..thats the same here. But buying direct from sideshow or coolprops is not a good idea for europeans like us!:wink1:

more pictures of this beauty from coolprops facebook! Hope the final product will look exactely the same! (well, may be better with chromed teeth!)

It looks great on that lighted pedestal. If you could do the bottom with shelves to display other pieces it wouldn't be such a waste of space.

First I said no shoulders no thanks. Then I said still no shoulder no thanks. Then I said too big plus no shoulders no thanks.

Now, thanks I'm gonna order this stupid thing. 😂

If anything would make me order the 1/3 statue over this it's the space it takes up.
