This big chap head coming from production molds is something they should be touting more, that's a hell of bonus right there. I thought it was a new sculpt, although I would love to know how or why the chin looks different.
Being from movie molds and the HRGiger estate license does explains the price increase. I bet they (HRGmuseum) get good money for every head sold and I don't mind the premium for a head with lineage to the original. This is probably going to be the grail of Chap heads. I'm curious if the owner of Coolprops owns the molds or did the estate give him access to it. If its from the estate I bet that probably added some serious cost. "hey, can I pour some resin in that original mold" lol Also having this displayed in the museum says a lot about it to me.
