I'll get some pics up in a little bit--I want to go over it again without the excitement factor impacting my vision. Mine actually turned out better than I thought it would but not perfect (then again, what piece is). Tendons are all in place and no big paint issues. I've got a scuff on the dome in the front so I'm going to really go over it and see if that's the only spot. I think I can hide it if I display it properly.

Happy you landed a solid one! Hope it passes the few feet away test!Also happy to see a handful of good ones showing up! I'm in awe every time I look at this piece, and I'm thrilled with it. If I stopped collecting right now, I'd be happy. It's literally like looking at a piece from the actual movie. The sculpt is that strong! I simply adore it. I hope more and more continue to get ones they're happy with, and that those with replacements on the way get them as well. It's hands down one of my favourite pieces I own, and an easy grail I can scratch off the list!

So yeah!! As you can see this piece is bad arse!!! If you are anywhere close to a fan you MUST pick this up!!
Mine only has a couple issues.. Mainly a gap between the dome at the front and where it sets.. Other then that not much to really get into... And on to my patented crappy pics..

Ok, I looked it over and the only issue I have is a spot on the dome above the right eye. Looks like it's not a scuff but some sort of residue instead. I think it could come off if I knew what to use, but I don't want to scrape it or use something that would damage the dome. I may contact Sideshow just to see what they say since it's on the front or if they have an idea of what I could use to get whatever it is off there. If I display the busy with the left side out it looks absolutely amazing. Tendons are complete, paint is good, and no chips or scratches.

The gap looks like dust can get in? It looks like its not sealed or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Nope.. Not sealed.. Didn't some others have some sort of filler there? You can tell that they didn't slip it all the way properly at the rear so this ended up happening... I'm torn.. You can only see it up close and when looking up at it..

On all the other busts I see black paint or filler. What are you going to do? It really is too bad that your one arrived with this problem. Besides this issue it looks pretty nice.

I still can't stop laughing (or crying, can't tell) at the price of that thing, but it does look cool.
I'm apparently the only one so it's a one-off.

Zod, definitely contact them and inquire about it and see if there's a way you can fix it. From the way you have it displayed it should be okay, but always best to ask!
