Guys, be careful brushing off the Styrofoam dust off it, make sure it doesn't get pushed into the gaps between the dome and head. You will never get it out if it does.
And an easy fix to seal the gap - brush-on nail glue. Works great:
You really do talk complete & utter drivel. & you're incredibly antagonistic to the extent where I've no doubt that you manage to get into serious arguments with your own shadow.

my gap is pretty wide., do you think this would still work?
Wide gaps... Big Chaps... I'll bite my tongue
Hopefully I'll get the oppertunity, come Monday, to experiment on removing the residue and black overfill sealant safely.
Other than the unsightly scuff I have, what looks like, two fingerprints in a glue substance on the front if the dome.

Yeah, he checks everything as far as I know.Col do you know if Lee checks his stock before he ships them or have you sent him a message asking to check for damage in the past? I’ve never received anything damaged from him but always put it down to luck of the draw This one has me worried.

I managed to remove some of the polystyrene dust from inside my dome today by using the nozzle attachment on my vacuum and placing it where the gaps are. There's still some in there, but there were a couple of large lumps that were bugging me and luckily they have vanished now. If anyone else has the same problem, I recommend giving it a try!
Nice one, Rizob. I have some polystyrene residue trapped in the dome so I'll give that a try the next time I can summon up the courage to take it out of the box again.
I just blew in air in the front "opening" and put a vacuum cleaner at the back "opening", got out all styrofoam residue. The I resculpte the teeth and repainted them. After that I slimeiliste it
