Very excited to see this in person on Saturday. I'm going to make a beeline to it from the airport and you'll be able to tell the fury is in the house by the drool coming from my mouth for the first hour or so of the convention.

notice that they changed the fingers

They still look like a crinkled mess.

They are not splayed any more, instead the two fingers on each side seem to be attached ala the original costume. I like it. Can't wait to see this tomorrow, and heading straight to it.

:panic: :D

Also, seems like the dome is more translucent than before revealing more skull! :D

The other hand still looks the same, which is also goofy and over sized!

Yeah, you can't perform miracles or anything with it but these should be able to be moved 5mm at least. It might be more difficult if there is a metal armature. I dropped the lower mandibles on my Classic Predator Skull a couple of inches.

edit...heat and pressure/weight over time + cooling does it. So for the fingers they will need to have pressure from bands and or a weight to make them move, then left in that position to cool.

No problem :) I don't know if there is a right way or wrong way with regards to heat first then weight or vice verca. I have used both ways with the same result. You just can't push things too far is all. When we have this in hand and if I do a mod I will be happy to let you know how I did it.

Now pushed back to 1st Qtr. 2012:( This is the second time already that this has been pushed back. Does Sideshow get any items out on time based on there original estimated delivery timeframe? And since it appears that they don't, why even give an original estimated time frame when it is almost never accurate.

Wow, pushed back that far?

And I don't ever remember them getting the "estimated release date" correct.

Need to find space for this huge maquette! :)

When I placed my pre-order for this with my local retailer a couple of months back, they were already telling me to expect this to ship in Q1 2012.

Oh well, guess i can buy a few more things now, before they decide to ship him. :impatient:

They are probably waiting for more orders to come in. The ES on this is pretty high.

They just have too many items in the making and too little workers.
