Well, I had about $250 leftover from when I traded the Hulk comiquette, and I traded some loose hot toys figures.

Just tell her what the original price was and that should (in theory) do the trick. Lordy, only $300... that's an amazing deal. Wish my LCS owner was cool enough to accept trades.

She knows I get deals from my LCS, but I'm starting to see the fustration in her eyes whenever something new turns up. And yes, my LCS accepting trades has been a big help.

i love thaft pic of the alien too, but
It is a little deceptive though...in Relation to the artist...just look at how much smaller the back foot is compared top the one on the foreground...now apply that to the artist...in theory, the statue looks about 20% bigger than it would if out were right next to him....but I.ve also seen this on person and it is still very big...
unless a telephoto lens is used for less distortion, it's very easy to make things appear that much larger or smaller than other objects in fairly close proximity...

I forgot to add - I'm getting this item ... I love it -- except I think the hands could've been more ALIEN ... but I understand the artistic freedom and the need to get away from the cinematic constraint of the costume - even though that was characteristic of the Giger Alien...Lethal yet graceful

I know right? The Dog Maquette box was huge!! I had some trouble bringing it through the door! I had to drag it on the ground to get it through, lol

I still haven't gotten rid of the box yet. The box art looks too nice to be just thrown away like garbage. I might eventually get rid of the bulky styrofoam and just fold up the box when i need more space for more Alien statues like the Queen Dio w/ egg sack. Now imagine the size of that box!

I flat packed the box & brown outer box when i got mine as i couldn't even fit the damn thing through my loft hatch.

Had to dispose of the styrofoam which i regret doing now as if i ever had to sell the maquette i'd have a hell of a job trying to protect the thing during shipping.

The styrofoam are space eaters. But only throw them away if you don't ever intend to sell your statues. Otherwise, packing the statues up for shipping is going to be a nightmare.

I'll probably wind up buying this one again. Had it on order but, I transferred the nrd to my Joker PF. I only cancelled because I bought the Roswell Alien. Which is 10x more accurate.
This one is still bad ass! I love the base and even the pose. Just wish they made the hands a little smaller.

Yes even that too. If I'm guessing right, you wanna transfer some Flex-Pay's NRD for the Big Chap, right? I'm pretty sure they'll allow it cuz you are buying an even more expensive piece!
