Is Maquette feels to thin or its huge in real..........how about weight?? except base

It is very big. It is a true 1/4 scale. Accordinly it's got some weight to it, but I wouldn't say it's too heavy.

can they mark it as a gift..? Would they still charge? Dunno if that's allowed...or maybe mark the wholesale value (usually half of retail)? Or the actual cost of manufacturing (usually 3/4 to half of wholesale)?-- that'd bring that price down a lot...

It is too big of an edition size. But this is one of those times where I just don't give a damn, because I'm getting the maquette for me, my permanent collection, and it will be awesome.

Just don't know how to swing the last payment now...

I wanted to pay for this piece by money order at the time and pre-ordered it at an on-line retailer. Because of this, I've had this thing paid for since early last April! This was originally scheduled for 3rd quarter 2011 before being pushed back a number of times. I will have had this maquette paid for for almost a full year before receiving it (that's assuming the March 2012 estimated delivery date holds). I feel like I've been waiting for this forever All i can say is it better be worth the wait (If it is as nice as or better than the Alien Warrior maquette...it certainly will be).

It is too big of an edition size. But this is one of those times where I just don't give a damn, because I'm getting the maquette for me, my permanent collection, and it will be awesome.
