They went all out with the 3 3/4 toys and glasses doing alot of research finding molds and the old factories. They look awesome

The figures aren't available for order yet but Super7 are having a special now where if you order anything from their website they'll include the Alien catalog for free.

Also, does anyone have any details on the other company that's supposed to be re-releasing the big old Kenner Alien? The company name or any details?

ALIEN REACTION FIGURE CATALOG

Thirty-four years in the making! Get the lowdown on Super7's plans for the ALIEN ReAction Figure line in our "vintage style" catalog! Catalogs will be included for FREE with any purchase made at www.super7store.com - quantities are limited! This offer is valid only while supplies last!

Formatted exactly like the 3 3/4” space-figure booklets of yesteryear, this 12-page catalog features brand new information and photos on all five of the ALIEN ReAction Figures. Much of the catalog text and imagery is adapted from original toy packages and sales materials from the 1979 ALIEN product line, continuing the fun, retro vibe of the ReAction Figures themselves.

This image brings back childhood memories for me. Namely the Kenner Alien and board game. :clap

Finally found the thread. :D

I'll be reading up on this tomorrow! Saw these at WonderCon, and they are must haves, if a bit pricey...

Personally, I would like the ships. I know the Narcissus would be possible, due to the fact that it could only carry three (was that it) castaways. What the hell kind of planning was that anyway? Seven crew members, and even if you take into account that there may have been another life boat on the other side of the ship (according to my Nostromo blueprints), that still only carries six people if they all had to abandon ship! I suppose maybe, just maybe, it was common practice to have an android on board, so Ash could have technically been left behind. Then again, nobody on board even knew Ash was a god-damned robot!

But, I'm way off on a tangent! :lol

What I mean to say, is, that I would love a huge Nostromo play set or something...

Lack of back-ups, fail-safes and generally abysmal margin for error seem to be a recurring thing; look at the Nostromo, no crew whatsoever save Bishop and perhaps the Marine contingent themselves, no crew for the second dropship, no dedicated crew for the APC, the entire compliment goes planetside during an Op... I sometimes wonder if the films aren't meant to take place in the same universe as The Cold Equations...:cuckoo:

Really excited to see these come to fruition! You'd think I wouldn't with the work I'm putting into creating my own line but these just give me flashbacks to when I was a kid wishing they would release alien figures. Pricey but limited coming from Super7 so I'll invest in the figures but probably not the glasses...

I just scared the crap out of myself by going to the Super7 website and finding the Alien figures listed there. Never saw them in the store there before. So it says "Out of stock," but then I see the other type which states "coming soon."

Whew! :horror

And maybe I knew this before, but yeah, it does say pre-order begins at SDCC. Hope that's online, because SDCC is a thing of my past!
