Good start, look forward to seeing it finished. The tendons definitely look better when blended and painted, I'll do them on mine although I'll be leaving it the colour it is for the most part.

Thanks guys! Yeah it's quite light brown in the pics, mostly because some are with flash, and as i said, more dark shading needs to be done, like the forehead and shoulders etc. If you look back to Pythons pics he posted, the one of the costume ribcage, the bust is practically identical to it. The inner mouth has been painted today, an off white / creamy colour, and the teeth will be done as close to chrome as possible as the last thing to be done on it, along with the gums, then it gets its clear coat. Although I kinda really like it looking matte.

I actually really like the lighter tone, it might not look exactly as they read visually in the movie due to lighting and color grading of the film, but it makes the sculpt look 100 times more interesting.
The details really pop.

The more I look at it the more I love the choice.

It is funny seeing the behind the scenes photos and realizing how different the costumes look under different lighting.

It's alot like the Pulse Rifles with the olive-drab vs brown bess.

Jo Taylor from Aerograffiti, she usually does things like crash helmets, jackets etc but will do anything you comission her for. I think Jo is doing an amazing job too, I love how it's coming along.

Seems she's quite a talent! I'm really looking forward to seeing it finished. A nice subtle wash will tone it all down slightly and once it's all glossed and the mouth finished it should definitely look the mutts nuts.

Ignoring the title pic, the 2nd one I comped up to look sort of Instagram-y. The others are enhanced with a faux HDR action I made in Ps. I use it to sharpened and enhances features. It does exaggerate some things, but it also explodes flaws into plain view (at least, it does on faces *lol*).

My repainted one is being delivered to me today so I'll have some pics of mine up later too.

I can't for the life of me take decent pictures, they all turn out crap. Until I take some in a better place with better lighting, these two will have to do. One of the teeth and one from the side. The side view is nowhere near representative of it's colour under normal light, I had to use the flash because of how dark the room was.
