1) Why is Sarah Connor's tape recording to John different to the one we see her make at the end of T1????????
2) In T2 John says he knows he'll meet his dad when he about 40. So why in TS does he meet him when he's about 33?
3) If Marcus is a super-advanced infiltration unit then how come the T-800 is less advanced even though it was made AFTER him?
4) Gen. Ashdown refers to Connor as the prophisised saviour of mankind. WHO prophesised this? Connor himself? Why would anyone listen to one man who appopints himself as THE saviour????

ALIEN 3, most likely a seperate recording she made before she died.

TS, Sarah connor made numerous tapes most liekly a 90's remix of all of them .

TS is a alternate timeline due to the events at the end of T2 making Johns dad a different age.

TS, Marcus is a 1 off! He is the only one of his kind. He still has his humanity, this can't be made on a factory floor. T-800 will do it's best to replicate some of his traits.

TS, Well it worked for Jesus! Anyway, maybe people started saying it because he has alot of knoledge about machines.

1) How can anyone travel back in time again in T2 when Reese already said in T1 that the time displacment equipment was destroyed after he was sent thru so no one could follow?
2) How come a melting sphere surrounds the subject once they arrive in the past when it didn't in T1?

Ok,

Reese said they had rubber skin. But the timeline has changed since T1 and T-2, Skynet lost the T-800 arm and chip at the end of T2. Nothing to base a T-600 on the had primitive designs. e.g Large size.

They don't just kill him because maybe Skynets enjoying him in pain. And the fact the movie could be over in 5 mins!

T-800 at the gun shop, that T-800 may have been rushed off the production line to be sent back. Reese said Skynets defence grid was smashed, Skynet was clutching at straws.

Ok,

Dutch and Dillon are old pals who used to be Army together. Dillon left and became a sort of office worker. Dutch got his own team. Now Dutch's team are a rescue squad. Dillon tricks Dutch into killing the terrorists at the camp by saying they are holding Dutch's friend "Hopper" prisoner. Dutch believes the story and kill all the terrorists only to find out Dillon lied about the prisoners being held there. Dutch is pissed because his team are not assassins their trained rescue squad. Russian military advisers = Cold war feud ect.

The way I see it is, Pred 2 was young. He had to go it alone and try to cut his teeth build a reputation. The ship was a fall back plan if it all hit the fan! Like it did, The Lost hunters clan are sort of exiled. well it's only speculation I heard, but they prefer the old ways of hunting and were exiled. lost hunter tradition not to intervene?

I always just believed that Terminators had built in voice boxes which is how they can imitate other people's voices. I wouldn't think an organic voicebox molded with the living tissue can do that.

I think it was probably speaking, just we never saw. I seriously doubt it has a stereo system to project kyles voice.

The point I am trying to make is they do not speak normally as in moving their jaws, it has nothing to do with the muscles as that is what the pistons in their jaws are for. When the TX was in endo form she never spoke she only made noises and the Arnie models never spoke when they had no skin.

well nothing i said earlier contradicts your point, dude.

so yeah, i agree with u that the terminators do not rely on musculature and jaw movement to generate sounds, unlike us humans. for them, it's all electronically generated.


but to better simulate humans they mimic our way of speaking, which accounts for the presence of jaw pistons, etc, to allow movement of the jaw plus "muscle/tissue".

No evidence of that. The artificially generated "living" field idea is most plausible. Still a huge plot hole to allow for a new CG villain, really.

I have a small question about terminators, why is it when they lose their skin they seem to lose the ability to speak also.

The reason they loose the ability to speak is because its the muscle on the human body covering them thats allowing them to speak.
Just like its the muscle and tissue on the human body allowing them to run , jump and everything else.

What? We've seen endos do everything without muscle. That's just camouflage. Muscle has nothing to with anything else. And the voice must be artificially created without using flesh. That's the only way it would be able to sample and replicate any voice it needed.

Without skin in T1, it has no need to communicate verbally because it isn't fooling anybody anymore, and the target is still close, and there aren't any people's voices it can use then to fool them in the empty factory either. If the target is in sight, it doesn't need to ask for directions. It doesn't make coversation for the hell of it.

that's not really true. in salvation, the t800 endoskeleton in the factory conned john connor by using marcus wright's voice to call him.

The T-Arnold in TS used Kyle's voice cause John would come to help HIM, not Marcus.

The mouth may not still move in endo form if it spoke, but it just might because it would be programmed to immitate a human speaking when it talked. Think of that stupid singing fish. Its mouth would still move if you took its skin off. Same idea. All we know from TS is that we didn't see it's mouth move because it stopped talking by the time the camera was on it.

Eggs, really?! If we assume the egg thing is right, why no evidence. If it disintigrated, why didn't the T1 end up pure endo, or Kyle end up totally disintigrated? Duh Living tissue generates helps generate the field. It doesn't get obliterated by it, obviously. Think, McFly, think.

The sphere shape we see would just be the shape of the time displacement chamber the time traveller would be in. We don't actually see the melting chamber in T2 because the machine is functioning perfectly. In T3, it perhaps wasn't quite as refined, or more likely, the creative team for the movie thought it would look cooler. No eggs. Come on.
