Hey, just a little update to keep people's interest piqued. I worked on the screen decals for the Sentry Guns. Here's a test. Again, any constructive criticism is welcome.

Either I or Mudshark will be posting an update very soon. Basically, we are very close to completing the mech drawings. This is an exhausting process, getting every detail right in the planning and design build up.

Once we complete this process, we will have the most amazing Sentry Gun project rolling. Hang in there.

I'm working on another update right now, should have something for everyone this weekend. And Paul is absolutely right, this puppy has loads of detail on it, and I'm doing my utmost to make sure it's all there for Sentry 1's buildup. Stay frosty marines!

One other thought, and I passed this along to Angie.

Because this project is dedicated to Chris Chulamanis, I thought it might be cool to "mark" it with some tribute, something I think he would have loved.

My idea is to commemorate this amazing project by calling it the "CC-08 RSG Project" or something like that.

Maybe Dboz could include a CC-08 somewhere (tastefully, but not ostentatiously) in the decals to pay tribute to Chris.
I talked about this with Angie, who was very close with Chris, and she made a cool suggestion too along these lines. Lost that email but whatever she suggests I will most appreciably defer to.

I really like this idea. Sort of like someone writing a motivational slogan on their hemet or flak jacket.

Agreed with all. This is a very special project. Without guys like Chris this art form would not be what it is today. Fitting tribute...

I'm thinking two different styles. One using the USCM font to look like it is part of the regular markings and one in a graffiti style to look like it was added in the field. That would give people a choice as to how they would like to apply it.
