Not being to careful at this stage I just want to experiment on this set of armour until i get it to how I like it..

layering the camp up and then slapping a wee dry brush of silver and a jolly good dirty wash

These are shaping up great Dorgs ! You need to find someone with a copy of the "Colonial Marine Technical Manual ", it's full of great reference and data . I had it years ago , lent it out and never saw it again . Of course now it's exceedingly scarce and costs a mint !

Right gonna try to do a wee step by step pictorial of the attaching the leg armour.....

All we need is some webbing, tape, scissors, superglue, and old toilet roll and some sticky backed plastic.....

Looking great!!! You might be able to make grenade loops for the harness by getting narrow olive ribbon and looping, gluing inbetween each loop to the strap.

I was thinking of picking up some black pleather to put in the inside of that shin armor to cover the gaps.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I ordered a whole bunch but I didn't get the really narrow olive drab by mistake. I'm gonna take a look around from some narrow elastic too because that would work even better.
