Aliens VS Predator: Requiem Dio - Lots of Pics!

Knowing that Xeno skin is Acid-blood proof im shocked we have never seen one skinned Alien or Alien skin covered armor. We know the metal Preds use is only impact resistant to a point and not blood resistant. They clearly know that if they wore a Xeno skin suit they would be splash resistant. Maybe its too big a dishonor or something.

I thought Scar had Xeno acid blood-proof weapons.
And it may be a dishonor or something although Scar used it to make weapons/shield for Alex. Or simply, they just haven't thought of it yet.

I assume the weaponry and armor must be different metal. Because when Grid flicked its bleeding tail at Celtic he quickly had to take off his acid covered armor before it melted through. I am unsure about the weapons. The combi stick and shuriken were fine when faced with Acid blood but celtic's wrist blades melted.

Is his armor not protected against the acid? If so...whats the big deal about the blood being on his foot. Its on his foot because he is stompin the severed torso of the alien after he taught him a lesson that was ultimately his last one.

yea, but his armor isn't covering the whole foot, he would lose that foot if that happened realistically.

Celtic and Chopper didn't do their homework I guess! Did any of Scar's weapons melt due to the acid-blood? I can't recall..

have been smiling all day since i got this statue today, it exceeded my wildest expectations. As some of you know i am a perfectionist when it comes to paint quality. So wasnt really expecting too much for a <1/6 dio but man the paint quality on this thing is 100%, every detail & all nettings done to perfection, cant find any sloppiness. Both heads are also some of the best on par with ht, unfortunately my shelf is too tall to display it with the masked head to full effect(i always like mask on), so opt for the unmasked head.

It's one of the more complex pieces with 3 aliens 1 pred, and tons of accessories. I was lucky to find a good seller that packed it extremely well without any damage, and to risingstar's excellent photos as reference to put it together.

This is truly an epic piece, best 400 bucks i ever spent. Really makes you ponder the amount of money sideshow charges nowdays.

To date, still the best Wolf Piece available IMO. Well least till the LSF is released but we all are not rich
