Except that on this side of the pond, the American football rules all other sporting events [here]. It's just insane how much money they put into the Superbowl.

I think this year was the first year that the Champions League Final surpassed the worldwide viewing figures of the Superbowl.

Champions League Final = the world.

Superbowl = just USA.

That's how insane it is over here.
Department stores, grocery stores, etc. will re-arrange their floors to accomodate the Superbowl merchandise.

For the record, I enjoy watching both sports, but neither is my favorite.
I'm a baseball guy.

I'm a LFC guy first but as you know I'm a big F1 fan too. Funny thing is that I support an Italian team and a Spanish driver.

I have been a Panthers fan since 2001 when I started watching the American version of Football . Now I am like a die hard crazy fan...been that way since 2003 and went over the top in 2005. Getting to go to 1 game this year, maybe 2 if I can get a good price on tickets for my wife and I ( she is a big fan also ). I got to go to 2 training camp sessions this year also...always awesome to see just how big these guys are close up ( they are freakin HUGE! )

You guys have your brand new 'Circuit of the Americas' to showcase to the world in November. That should put F1 back on the map in the US. I think there will be more ups and downs to come in the championship this season...

Thanks! Last season made it hopeful for this year...hoping the trend continues and we at least see a playoff birth.
