The floor could still be pulled from under his feet, so to speak. Only 2 of the 4 films have been released. I'm not saying they turned him into an optimistic gung-ho hero, but he's steadfast, whines less and seems more open to friendship in what's been shown thus far.
They've altered certain aspects of the story so much that Shinji's new attitude could work in this new telling of the eva tale. Saying anymore would spoil a lot so I'll stop.
sux that they had to end the anime soo soon. I asked the guys over at Funimation at sdcc and they dont believe the anime will continue
*sigh* and the dang comic comes out once a month!!!

There are a few series that come out monthly that I like and it drives me crazy.
Yes, like Vagabond, Gantz, Vinland Saga and Berserk. All top-notch series but take too darn long.

A little bit, but probably only if its in english. We have Witchblade and Afrosamurai on the Netflix queue.
Both are good choices but Afro Samurai is pretty gory and violent, so just a heads up on that.

I recently watched Witchblade on Blu-Ray and really enjoyed it! There are so many good anime series out there, it is hard to make any recommendations!
