I don't like individual volumes

Wll I didnt now if you meant boxing as in shipping or boxing as in set.

And yes, single volumes are unwanted. They usually only have 4 to maybe 5 episodes. I remember buying the Platinum edition of Evangelion by volumes. Buying individual volumes for a series like Naruto is just crazy. :gah:

I'm hoping when naruto is said & done, they put out the huge set

I was planning on waiting to pick up Soul Eater on Blu when they hit, but I just got back from walmart and Im not sure if it was a mistake or what...but I just picked up season 1 of Soul Eater for $10 bucks. I havent had a chance to check it out yet and cant seem to figure out why it was only 10 bucks...I almost think somethings wrong with it. Anyone know anything about this.

Haven't updated this thread in a while, so...

Finished watching Eden of the East on Blu-Ray; it was a great show and I can't wait for the three movies to make their way over. I really liked the story and the animation was fantastic! Speaking of Eden of the East... I won an Eden of the East contest on FUNimation's Blog! :rock I got the series on Blu-Ray (unfortunately I had already purchased it. :monkey4), a limited edition Eden of the East T-shirt, some swag that is being given away with purchases normally (like a Birdy the Mighty mouse-pad, RoboGeisha window cling and Eden of the East window cling), several art cards and three Eden of the East double-sided card stock posters, one of which, was autographed by by the original series creator/ director Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, Moribito), chief animation director Satoru Nakamura (Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, Moribito), and episode director Hisashi Ishii (Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, Moribito)!!! :hi5:

Unfortunately, UPS beat the crap out of the shipping box, and the posters arrived with major creases and bends!!! :monkey2 I'm still going to try and get it framed, but I'm not sure if I can "undo" the damage.

Currently I'm watching Witch Blade on Blu-Ray (up to episode 21), and really like it. I'm surprised there is more "story" to it than I had thought there would be. Also have a ton of other stuff waiting in the wings... Samurai 7 BD, Samurai Champloo BD, Corpse Princess parts 1 & 2, Hetalia: Axis Powers seasons 1 & 2, etc., etc., etc.

I just watched the first episode of Eden of the East and it's good. There are a ton of new anime out there that I cant keep up - which is a good thing of course. :) Another new one that seems to have potential is Sekirei.

has anybody watched desert punk?

I have, very recently. It's great. I really loved the humour. And the quality of the animation is great also. It's definitely one of the better Anime's I've watched. The "hero", Kanta, is, well not very lovable... :lol But, most of the characters surrounding him are.

Any recommendations on Blu ?

It's been a while since I have gotten any and would not mind some input.

I will say I am not as into the Gundam/Mech world as I once was.
