I could swear it said in the Sideshow press release that they were doing 1/6 figures for this...or was that another one of my Taco Bell induced visions?

They did, they also said they'd be doing GI JOE figures too but those haven't near materialized yet....

(let's see if Dusty is reading this thread too. :D)

Does Sideshow make anything that costs $49.99 anymore?!:D

Hopefully we get pics soon, at least. I missed out on a lot of good HB stuff last time and I am determined to make up for it this time....

Oh, wait. I found the $49.99 Hellboy item...

Hey, I remember the summer of 2004 when the big properties were Hellboy and Van Helsing. Those were the days...

My bad :monkey3 I didn't realize he worked on Pans Labyrinth as well... makes sense why they are so familiar, and badass :rock

Mignola said last year while doing press for Darkness Calls that he did designs of over 700 different characters!!! :horror How in the hell can you even fit 700 different charcters in one movie?!?!

Mignola was an uncredited character designer on Pan's. He took Del Toro's schetches and gave them a Mignola-ish revamp.

That always confused me, so he was voiced by a different person than the actor? Guess I need to check IMDB more often :lol

David Hyde Pierce did the voice for the first movie, but Doug Jones played the character on screen. He also did the voice for the Hellboy animated stuff.

For the longest time I figured that David Hyde Pierce was the actor, but then watching the Pan's Labyrinth features I found out it was the other guy. Then I got confused, not realizing Abe could have been voiced by someone else... sometimes I'm not to swift :duh

while I think Doug Jones' voice works great I really did like David Hyde Pierce's voice for Abe ..
