Very cool that they would do that. More often than not I am told it's some stores policy not to hold anything for customers calling in.

If I can't find it in store I'll just wait for online to get it shipped. Just like how hulkbuster was. High demand, but unlike Hasbro, marvel select keeps up with the demand.

I’ve had my DS hold an item for the day if the item is on the shelf.

Yeah eventually you’ll be able to get it as long as you’re persistent about it.

I found Deathlok at Target yesterday and picked him up. Man, such a massive improvement over the old toybiz figure! Opened him and cable up today, and so far Im pleased as punch with this wave. Can’t wait to score the rest of the figures, especially Domino and X-23.

They look great Reefer! I was [this] close to buying Deathlok today, I just bought the Sasquatch wave Deadpool last night from Dorkside and I had to pick up the Lego BTTF Brickheadz, so I had spent enough and decided to pick it up later.

Just came back from one of my local game stop to preorder a bunch of dragon ball stars figures that's up for preorder.
Also ordered the cable, domino and the 2 deadpool. Then the worker went to the back and asked if I was looking for Mysterio since the person who ordered it didn't pick it up for a while. Score!

Thanks, yeah looks cool. I know there's a variant green head but I don't care which one I own. Both looks cool.

Oh wow, I didnt know there was a variant! I’ve only seen pics of the green head, so I thought that was standard.

I don't think it's an intended variant, just that the very first batch of Mysterio were made with an incorrect color that Hasbro had them fix for the majority of this release. The intended effect is that the head inside should look like smoke or mist that you can barely make out what it's supposed to look like with the dome on, With the transgreen, it's more obvious.
Personally I prefer the transgreen color, but I'll take whichever version I can find.

Yep, that's why I have Cable on pre-order with Dorkside. What I think I'm going to do from now on is figure out which figures that I'm after are going to be rarer than the others and pre-order those, then hope that the others that I want will be available later on discount.

I agree with that video review even though brown Wolverine is my preferred costume the new tiger looks like the better figure.

You can exchange heads with the brown version.

Man I miss the under $10 marvel legends price. Same as hot toys when they slowly creeped to $10, $12, $15, $20 etc. When you could get the whole series for under $100

The plastic used on the newer ones are much better and sturdier, I wouldn't mind paying more for what we are getting now.

I remember opening up AOU Capt to have him break at the waist..

The toybiz quality was good for its days. Wonder if it cost more or less packing it in the old clamshell.

What I always do is take a large bowl and fill it with hot tap water and drop my new fresh out of the package figure in to soak for 5 minutes. I then take it out and slowly work the joints around, if something is still stuck, I microwave a coffee cup full of water for a minute and poor it over the figure in the bowl and wait a few minutes more. Since I've been doing that I've yet to have a broken figure.

Dang. I’m regretting not getting the green variant Mysterio from my LCS. They wanted $35. So I was like, “Pfft... I’ll find him at Walmart for $20.”

Gotta try your method for washing the figures, my Thor and Jane from the Ragnarok wave smells and it made my whole cabinet smell terrible!

Capt was the first figure that broke on me and made me sold my AOU collection.
