Gotta have themz toyz NOW!!
In a few months, I'll casually walk into one of the many Walgreens In my area and buy SS for retail easily. It might even go on sale at some point.

Man, as a parent to two boys who love action figures...it is driving me up the wall. My 13 year old has me checking stores with him on the way to his swim practice for Mysterio and my 9 year old wants the Dragonball Super action figures and I haven't seen those ANYWHERE outside of eBay. If anyone happens to come across a Trunks, Hit, or Zamasu Dragonball action figures, please let me know.

I don't remember figures being this hard to find in the 90's when I was in high school

they were much worse

no offense, but the advent of the internet has made collecting so much more easier.

Back in the day we'd take 30 minute bike rides to the nearest TRU, the employees didn't know what was what

now BBTS sells by the case load, free shipping. .... hasbrotoyshop discounts their own products heavily throughout the year, Amazon delivers straight to your door.

You can find 95% of Marvel Legends at a discount. The chase figures were non-existant on shelves back in the day because comic book shop owners would scalp left and right

its a lot easier to find figures on eBay because so many sellers "scalp" these things that it drives down the price

Mysterio will be had for $25 or less in a couple months

Silver Surfer will be on clearance for $15 ... paying 100 for that is damn near crazy for any Walgreens Exclusive.

You just have to wait a couple months for the ship date.

Thing and Silver Surfer go up on the website in June

the sale is 25% off... no limitation

they also have the X-Force Gamestop 12" Deadpool and the Ghost Rider and Black Widow riders pack for $29.99

Must be tough to be you when it comes to toy collecting...

????

not really, its easier thru e-commerce.

did you comprehend the point about the Internet?

Music and movies have gone digital, no one uses payphones anymore, and yes the internet has made some businesses obsolete [see TRU bankruptcy].

facts

I don't understand your passive aggressive remarks...

Yeah, he is right. I grew up in NYC and the only real toy store we had was TRU. If you didn't get to the store at opening you could forget buying any of the variants or popular Marvel Legends. Later on I found a target in Queens but it was hard getting there. Then the internet came and eBay, and now we have at least ten to fifteen different websites to get figures from. Not to mention stores like Walgreens now getting figures. It's much easier getting what you want now.

Yeah lol that's right. But if not, like Rulk said - he'll be up on the website like all the other Marvel Exclusives have been in the past hopefully!

I wouldn't sweat the Mysterio figure just yet my friend! That wave still hasn't really hit the big retailers like Target and Walmart, there might have a been a few trickled in, but the regular caseloads will start to show up soon. The ship hasn't sailed on that one just yet.

The DBZ figures however, I have no idea - but I'll keep an eye out for ya.

I'm not sweating Mysterio because I don't collect ML myself. My 13 year old watches youtube videos on Marvel Legends and gets himself excited and then harasses the hell out of me. I don't get angry at him because I would figure hunt when I was his age and it brings back some nostalgia; mom, not so much. :lol

My 9 year old is a lot easier with the Dragonball figures because he just looks at the back of the package. I just look for them when out with my 13 year old but I haven't seen them anywhere. I would greatly appreciate it if you can keep an eye out for me because those things are expensive on eBay/Amazon. I can PM you my cell if that will help and I can repay if there are any ML you want me to keep an eye out for.

What you just said makes sense. I grew up in South East Texas and I never had problems finding McFarlane Spawn or Kenner Star Wars figures I wanted. I would just check the local Toys R Us, Walmart, or Target stores on the way to work or college. Now I live in Southern California and my kids can never find the action figures they way. 90% of the time we order off Amazon.

Definitely man, PM it to me. I'm in socal too (Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area). I get the kid excitement thing too, but my girl is only 3 and is into trolls and my little pony lol. I drove myself nuts trying to find a Trolls Cooper figure over the holidays hahaha

Does anybody have any sources for a cowboy type hat for the Old Man Logan Marvel Legends figure? I have seen some on eBay but they're very expensive compared to the figure.

My little girl only buys calico critters or the girl Legos and those are easy to get off Amazon. I live in Redlands and teach in Fontana, so we are relatively close to each other.

I've seen a good amount of the Dragon ball figures at Walgreens and gamestop. You should check there.

Yeah there's a number of people that go around to all the stores and scalp stuff just so they can sell it for more at Frank And Son. Living in Socal, I had a hard time finding certain Ninja Turtles back in the early 90's so it's always been an issue there.

The Lizard BAF wave is just hitting stores so I'd check Amazon, Dorkside Toys, Hasbro Toy Shop, and BBTS regularly every day for Mysterio to suddenly pop up for sale at retail price.

Speaking of hard to find ML figures, I just got my Cable from Dorkside yesterday, best Cable action figure ever made! It looks like Cable ripped right from Liefeld's artwork, with correct proportions and actual feet.

Wish CVS would carry ML.
