Tempted to buy Magneto, but I think I'm going to hold out for the inevitable Purple/Red version.

Always hated the clamshell They made me think twice about opening them up.

I wish they’d bring it back just to put an end to all of the swapping swindle returns. It’s impossible to return a clamshell “unopened” to even the most oblivious employees. Or even regular old card backs. These new box styles are just too easy to open, switch thing out, and return to unsuspecting stores.

I agree, but clamshells are additional cost nowadays and are a thing of the past for Hasbro, I love the Pacifici Rim ones from Neca tho.

And since these are for the mass markets, it's usually more to practicality and shelve presence now unless they made them all into vintage cards, but BAF is another issue I think.

Though I think the new MS Thanos looks awesome, I'm kind of disappointed with how small he is ... especially for this scale.

Yeah, that was a nice surprise! I still would have happily paid $30 this one though. Like you’ve said, he goes great with ML figures (but not so much MS figures lol).

He really is a beautiful sight on the shelf!



I don’t think Thing and surfer have been officially released in the US yet. At least I hope not, cause there’s no trace of them here in the L.A. area yet either.

I did manage to find a Cable from the deadpool wave there yesterday though!

Before I got all six I noticed there's plenty of good deals on Ebay. There was one seller in particular from Kokomo, IN that had over 10 of each at close to retail with free shipping.

Paramus NJ is far enough from me to be a hassle of a commute and not worth it for a $25 toy but I just got off the phone with them and they have him in stock so if you live near there you can thank me later just go get him lol

Just got back and Thanos is mine. Last one they had. They were holding it for someone who did not pick it up yesterday so they sold it to me. Bought.a MS Doctor Strange too as it was on sale for $12.49. Thor with the spinning hammer was on sale too, but I have enough of him.
