Shattered Glass Uncut just posted an interview with the designer from FansToys and they asked him why he abandoned their MP Blaster. The answer was that it was NOT abandoned, it was coming AFTER they finish the MP Dinobots and Skyfire.

not sure why you hate the guy so much.The guy has taken quite alot of critism from the NERD community....He attempted to make a Skyfire for the fans and all the fans did is nit-pick EVERYTHING....Even FanToys isn't perfect (see the QC Scoria is having)

Much like your insistence that nobody is able to form a proper opinion on any collectible without seeing it in person I tend to be the same with people unless given a damn good reason to feel otherwise.

He's just made a product that I don't think is worth the asking price and I also feel he behaved in an extremely unprofessional manner by letting his personal feud with another company become so public and the whole throwing a hissy fit and pretending to leave the TFW forums smacked of trying to play the victim in a situation that he partially created himself.

Away from the murky world of TF forums he could well be a great guy, but that's not something that came across.

You are seriously suggesting everyone should have been nicer to him and never have criticised anything about Kronos regardless of quality just because he was making something "for the fans"?

If Takara or Hot Toys abandoned ship at the first sign of criticism they'd have been out of business years ago as every single thing they make gets far worse criticism than anything that's been thrown at Kronos.

I don't think any company is perfect, not Takara, not Fans Toys, not Hot Toys, not anybody.

I also base my experiences on my figures, which are both fine, as is a friend's Quakewave.

Has any major issues been apparent I'd have taken a positive step and explored the options to remedy them.

Blowing the issues out of proportion on a forum wouldn't even occur to me.

All I have ever said about Kronos is my own feeling on it.

It shouldn't stop you from getting some enjoyment out of it yet you seem unable to take anyone criticising it without trying to derail the thread with your pot stirring.

If Arafat is paying you to promote it, or you're his lover or something just come clean, I could then at least understand your motives for being so annoying.

Source for this? Because I have read hints that he has designed a couple third party figs, but has said nothing specific about it.

Corsair, I for one thought your post was completely reasonable. well, mostly. That last sentence was trolling just a little bit - we are all aware of Teemu's feelings on homosexuality, by this point!

I agree. That may have not seemed to be the case then, but as of right now, I very much doubt FansToys is committed to Blaster.

Who knows? If Takara doesn't do one by the time FT is done with the Dinobots and Skyfire, they might, but that's a ways off yet. And if they do, I think they'll end up doing a completely different figure than that prototype design.

EDIT: Oops, just saw the thread over at TFW... Still, I hope they tweak that old design considerably...

I've watched this so many times. It's outstanding. You really get a sense that Prime is the uber Transformer faster and stronger than everyone else.
Also the choreography is brilliant in this. Imagine a proper live action film with Transformers actually looking like transformers?!
