Got my Scoria today and I love it. What a great figure. Now to wait for the other Dinobots.

I know that they're going to make the figures show accurate, which is perfectly fine, but I wish that they can also make the dino modes in a way where you can outstretch the tails so they can look more like the dinosaur their supposed to be (mainly Snarl and Grimlock). It just bugs me when I see a Stegosaurus and a T-Rex with their tails dragging on the ground.

I checked it out, there's some phenomenal repaints being done with this. I'll have to look at it a bit closer today when I'm out. I'll be honest, something about the new packaging makes all of the movie stuff blend together.

The wall of Red and White TF merch is hard enough to look at. The fact that some items, like deluxe figures and "Power Attackers" are in identical size and shaped packages, is a real shot in the foot. Hasbro has made a respectable effort to produce items for all age groups and the packaging does it no favors.

Hi TF fans. Just want to share my latest purchase from the TF AOE toyline - deluxe class Lockdown. At first I felt like it's a crappy figure but it has grown on me, and I think Im stating to like it. [emoji4]

Well, that's how he carry his gun in the movie. I just don't like the transformation, it is very similar to the last DOTM's deluxe Roadbuster.

Thanks for the video of Kronos Teemu. It looks great in robot mode, except for the waist swivel cutting through the cockpit canopy. Jet mode looks awful though, especially from below. I really don't like the transformation either; popping bits off and storing them in the backpack etc. I get that the backpack needs to come off and reattach like it did with the original G1 Jetfire, but the way the upper body transforms with snapping the back off and on again is just lazy engineering imo, especially for a modern figure. I can understand having to add things on the old G1 figures like Prime's hands or the Seeker hands as that was the limit of the engineering at the time, but these days it's very rare to see stuff like that. The whole point of a transformer for me is that it transforms as one piece. Could it not have been on a hinge so that flips up to opened the back up and release the arms and then flip back down? And is all that die cast really necessary? Yea really not keen on Kronos at all after seeing the vid.

This is basically how I feel.

It looks quite good in robot mode, but the transformation is pretty bad, and it just looks terrible in alt mode. I know I would hardly ever transform mine, if I had one, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a good alt mode, especially when it's supposed to be a "masterpiece".

It almost looks like... well, if there was a line between Generations and Masterpiece, it would fit in really well. Like, if I saw this at Walmart or something, I would be very impressed. It just isn't quite at the Masterpiece level.

I'm pretty impressed with my Scoria, but things have been very busy at home lately and I haven't gotten a chance to play around with him at all!

Intresting. Looks like the rumors of a Hasbro release of MP Sideswipe may be legit then.

That's a fair judgement.

I saw the video and it only confirmed my prior suspicions that Kronos wouldn't live up to the insane hype.

We can now see the reason Arafat was able to keep his costs low, he cut major corners on the engineering which at the Masterpiece level sticks out like a sore thumb.

Sure it's big and relatively cheap to US customers, and that'll be enough to wow some people but the cheapest price for it in the UK is £150 which at the current exchange rate is about $258.

Even if I hadn't been put off by the whole Cult of Kronos and the way Arafat stirred the pot at TFW and then played the victim when he got called on it I wouldn't have considered paying that kind of cash for something that's neither one thing or another, it's like an upscaled Classics figure with a bit of Masterpiece sprinkled on top.

you probably aren't aware,but Arafat designed Shockwave for FansToys (who is also a parts-former)...not sure why you hate the guy so much.The guy has taken quite alot of critism from the NERD community....He attempted to make a Skyfire for the fans and all the fans did is nit-pick EVERYTHING....Even FanToys isn't perfect (see the QC Scoria is having)
