Are those worth getting for a regular TRU version?

If you're unsure of the strength in your knee joints, no matter which version of MP Rodimus, then I think it's worth getting. But if you've been adjusting the knees on your version for some time now with no issue, then I doubt you're having any issues with the plastic ones. For me, the aqua knees on MP-9B were terrible, so it was definitely worth the upgrade. And the chrome looks awesome on the figure too!

Diecast knee joints finally allowed me to transform this bad boy into his alt mode! And after a 50min, exceedingly frustrating transformation, he's finally there and all pegged in properly too!!

Love it the alt mode on MP Rodimus. The styling is just bad ***! :)

Still not overly impressed by Ultimetal Prime. Just not my thing, I guess.

On the subject of TFs... I am still undecided about that third party Brawn... Anyone getting it?

I have no intrest in the Ultimetal figures, they look like high end Action Masters. Not that I'm averse to non transforming figures in general, but if I was paying that sort of money I'd expect more than a few lights and a gimmick with removable body parts that I'd probably only look at once.

I'll be buying Brawn & Outback sometime soon. I think they look excellent, the transformation is almost as good as Huffer's and if the QC can be improved then they'll be great additions to a Masterpiece display.

Brawn will eventually be posed using his strength to hold up the buttflap on MP Ultra Magnus :lol

Thanks for the info... I'm not really sure if I'll need them... I don't really play around with him much, so I dunno.

Oh my god he looks SO good in Alt mode.

Almost upset I never went for the re-colour or a second Rodimus now.

I have a V1 still that I have never had the nerve to transform & all this stuff about the knee joints makes me petrified to do it.

When I finally get the space to get mine on display he'll just stay in one pose forever lol

yeah.. ok.. two MP-05's released this close together? this smells of mold milking.

MP megs V2 incoming, i'm sure of it now.

It's just one actually. The "30th anniversary Reissue" will be Gold. Not silver as previously reported.

Gangster wannabes are sure to be pleased.

My latest purchase,

This figure is a very rare exception to my usual rule of being indifferent to all things Prime.

Had it been given a regular paintjob I probably wouldn't have been as impressed as the metallic red & blue that Kidslogic have used looks absolutely stunning and combined with the number of awesome light up features and the Super Deformed style makes for a very unique looking representation of G1 Prime.

I'd already decided I was going to get the Megatron that Kidslogic are also doing but I saw Prime in person at a friend's house a week or so back and was impressed enough to pull the trigger on one of my own.

Starscream is next after Megatron and is going to be hard to pass on as well.

Well, in their defense, it does take an unreal amount of discipline to look like that.

Not that I'd like that look, but I know it's not easy to be a bodybuilder.

I was just looking at warbotron and Feral rex and came across a vid about bbts titled Shattered Cast Uncut: BREAKING NEWS WARBOTRON SCREW JOB. I thought it was interesting. I'm stuck with $500 credit at BBTS, I returned an order due to damaged boxes but they said they could not return my $ cause the purchase was to long ago. They don't sell anything I want currently want and I don't see any thing that I could at least sell someone else at cost. I also see Air Burst is way cheaper at TFSource.
