Diecast knee joints finally allowed me to transform this bad boy into his alt mode! And after a 50min, exceedingly frustrating transformation, he's finally there and all pegged in properly too!!










Love it the alt mode on MP Rodimus. The styling is just bad ***!

Amazing pics!

Abominus was the only G1 toy I was never able to complete, so it holds a special place..

How does Blot feel in hand? I really don't do 3rd party, except for Quakewave, but this intrigues me...

Can't wait to see how Hun-Gurr will look like.. Hi is the scale like on these guys?

Bigger than Hercules. The completed Abominus is 37cm (about 15 inches) tall. I think Hercules is about 12-13 inches tall. Troll/Blot is about the size of a large Voyager.

As far as quality goes, he's way better than anything I have had from Hasbro and as good or better than Takara MP releases. He's about as good as he possibly could be imo. Has a really fun transformation too and I love how the foot breaks down into different weapons.

Bumblebee's prototype headsculpt was more accurate to the cartoon as the horns were actually pointy. I don't like how rounded they look on the production version and the white face doesn't look as nice as the silver used on the larger Autobot cars.

Wheeljack was seemingly the last in a run of Masterpieces that were virtually perfect.

Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus look increasingly like a step in the wrong direction.

The un-upgraded Herc isn't that much bigger than GG particularly when measured from the head. With the upgrade kit he's a bit taller for sure. The leg comparison isn't super apt to me as Herc is kinda oddly proportioned. Like his torso is basically the same size as GG but his legs and arms are way bigger.

This is probably way wrong but it's the best I could do based on comparisons. I think it's close-ish. That's Herc with the upgrade too.

Don't misunderstand, i'm not saying That monstructor isn't huge, he is. if anthing people are saying he's SMALLER than he is

I've got both Giant and herc. Giant is roughly the same size as my 1/6th figures, and Hurc is about the same height as the new sideshow vader.

The new kid on the blokck there, is even bigger than that, likely putting him in Feral Rex territory.

I think he's bigger than Feral Rex, at least based on what I have heard. The comparison I keep hearing is Warbotron which is basically a Masterpieces scale combiner.

Given Troll is a bit taller than an MP car I think that seems about right.

I think the white face is fine, though. That's what they showed on the proto, and it's cartoon accurate.
