The head could stand to be bigger, but it doesn't bother me the way it does other people. I think this is a great, GREAT recreation of the original Devastator, which was one of my favorite toys as a kid. Its extremely loyal, right down to the decals, and to me carries the spirit of the original where-as none of the third party options have in my opinion (as cool as they are in their own right). I'm super-exicted for him; hopefully the individual robot modes hold up.

$149 US. No Pre-order yet. From the Hasbro press release:

TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS COMBINER WARS CONSTRUCTICON DEVASTATOR
(Ages 8 & up/Approx. Retail Price: $149.99/Available: Fall 2015)
TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS COMBINER WARS figures form some of the largest TRANSFORMERS robots ever seen,
and this one tops them all. This mega-pack unites all six of the CONSTRUCTICONS in one place. Each figure is rendered in
incredible detail and features impressive conversion from robot to construction vehicle and back. But that's just the
beginning — the six Voyager Scale figures combine to form the ultimate DECEPTICON weapon: the mighty
CONSTRUCTICON DEVASTATOR, the largest TRANSFORMERS COMBINER robot figure!

Devastator looks really good, apart from that cement mixer cab. I still have all of the original figures, but lost most of the Devastator pieces over the years. He was the only combiner I ever had, so I think this will be a purchase!

All things transformers!!!!

Apparently there is already a line of these, that are based around a recent comic or something? I think there's a Superion.

Yes. But I think Devy falls on the Titan class category, doesn't he? I think I read he's slightly shorter than Metroplex. I'm not sure though.

Aaand, it seems that the Ultimetal Prime is actually coming out very, very soon. My HK dealer just told me he'd ship it in probably a week.

Haven't been this excited for a figure in a long while.

Re: All things transformers!!!!

Toyfair news came in. Not much was shown, though what was there is good. No official pics yet, just on the scene reports.

Cyclonus remold from Silverbolt, combined mode is Galvatronus.
Leader class Ultra Magnus, IDW based, complete with Minimus Ambus to ride around inside the cab.
Defensor.
Constructicons revealed in full. Some articulation sacrifices (scrapper has no elbows for example), which is a bummer but not unexpected. Generally they look like upscaled deluxes, but they get the job done, and Devastator looks incredibly cool. Huge G1 flavor too, incredibly so.

Re: All things transformers!!!!

Devastator is 18 inches tall as well. The lower arms become seperate guns for Scavenger and Bonecrusher. Every Constructicon has their own name too.

Groove becomes a chestplate for Defensor, and the new team member is a SWAT APC named Rook.

Hot Spot is also getting an Onslaught remold, which is really obvious when you look at him too. Listings also revealed that there is going to be a legends class Shockwave, probably for Bruticus to use as a gun.

Finally there are also Legends Warpath and Viper, both remolds. Warpath from Megatron, Viper from Powerglide. He's also a shameless Cobra Viper homage, which is all kinds of cool.

I am over the moon with Devastator and the Constructions. Each and every one is a straight-up articulated remake or the G1 versions and they nailed it in that regard. Its a gigantic 2015 version of the 1986 toy and for that I love it.

Constructicons!

Looks great for what it is, but it just makes me want a Takara designed MP version of this guy that much more. Bots are decent upgrades of the classic figures, but the lack of articulation and thin, superficial looking parts are turnoffs.

I think I'm going to get into my storage unit and pull all my World's Smallest Transformers to sell. I'll save a set of the Dinobots but I need to start clearing out stuff. I hate that I have a storage unit full of stuff just sitting there. It may be time for a mega-Spring Cleaning.

I think I've been putting off selling stuff because of the horror stories I hear of people dealing with buyers on eBay now. It used to be easy with no hassles (plus eBay didn't take such a big cut) but it seems like there are a lot of bad transactions now because the buyers are so protected.

this Set really reminds me of the original vintage toy but just made bigger and added a little more articulation to it...it's neat, but not $150 neat and definitely wouldn't look right standing in with TF Masterpieces of any kind.

I'd say 1/3 of my auctions need to be relisted or have some sort of issue. It's brutal.
