No it doesn't, I quite like it and that's saying a lot. I didn't like any other TF series after G1, until this one.

i watched quite a few episodes of the animated. up to "rise of the constructicons" until i started losing interest. then i got my G1 dvds and totally lost interest in the "animated" series. nice show but it seemed way to kiddish to me. G1 has more of a "comic book set to animation" feel. that said i might still get the animated dinobot toys cuz those look pretty awesome and you can never have too many dinobots.

Wow Karma. Love you like a bro but jeez... the new cartoon kicks ass. G1 rules all, no doubt, but the new cartoon has a great story, great character design, etc. You should watch the first season throughout, maybe that would change your mind.

it looks like BBTS has wave 3 of the animated toys for preorder. this includes soundwave, oil slick, jazz, and snarl. however they say sold out already. im sure they will get more though. they also have universe blades and dropshot up for preorder.
oh yeah and animated ultra magnus in case anybody hasnt heard yet.

I like them very much. I was going to make a custom seeker from the comics. No, it isn't Starscream. Here's a hint on who it is:
Hopefully I'll have him done by Sunday the 21. I just ordered him through standard shipping. It was the cheapest, and I'm no where near being made of money.

Yuck! Nicely taken pics but they don't do anything to change my opinions of the Animated line.
Bumblebee and Starscream look better than their even more hideous Movie incarnations but the art style of the latest cartoon makes for some damn ugly looking toys.

Hopefully, if there is a military presence in this movie, Josh Duhamel can reprise his role as well, I like him as an actor.

Found animated figures for the first time tonight at Walmart. They had the prime/megatron two-pack as well as Ratchet and Black Archania. I already had Ratchet and Black Arachnia preordered, so I got the two-pack just to see what they were like. They're pretty nice for the price, and the DVD is a nice bonus.
