Maybe old news, but some bits I found on TF2 from Bay's website.

Release date seems to be Summer 2009, 383 days from today as there's a counter on his site.

Shia Lebouf and Megan Fox will be reprising their roles.

Hopefully, if there is a military presence in this movie, Josh Duhamel can reprise his role as well, I like him as an actor.

I read on another board they are filming in PA right now with Duhamel and Tyrese.

What did you have against him? I just din't really like him and his acting. That's why i disliked him.

Same things, just didn't like the character whatsoever, he was ok for the movie, but not a return quality character. I thought Duhamel's character was nice, stand up guy, entertaining to watch, a character I'd like to see more of in the next film, same with Shia, I probably would have been weary of TF2 if Sam wasn't returning. Yes Transformers is about Autobots and Decepticons, but you do need some human presence and I thought they both brought something there. Megan Fox is a nice bit of continued eye candy I won't mind having aboard, I'll be curious to see if they clean up all of her tattoos for the movie.

I highly doubt it.

Yeah, Epps didn't do much for my friends either.

the only humans i cared for in the movie were sam and what's her face. did we really need character devlopment for those army guys? what did we get out of that? that time could have been used for more (or should i say "any") decepticon lines.

the human stories in movies like this are just lame. i call it "independence day syndrome". you go to that film to see a UFO blow up the white house and instead you have to sit through a bunch of mushy crap stories like goldbloom and his dad, and cousin eddie and his trailer trash buddies. same situation with transformers. you go to the film hoping to see megatron and the gang vs optimus and the gang but instead you got army pete talking to his new born daughter on videophone and english/aussie accent chick teaming up with overweight hacker rapper wannabe.:sleep

Add the hideous robot designs and you have a movie that isn't worthy of the Transformers name, the original G1 cartoon wasn't popular because of the human characters so I don't see why the new movies should be either.

Not worthy to you, maybe...And do you have any idea how much it would cost to have the TFs on the screen most of the time? At least this won't be an issue with TF2 from what I heard, nice big budget after all.

BTW, I'm a happy man. There was a Dutch TF convention today, and I got...

-Henkei Prime for 25 euros. That's 3 euros more then for the Hasbro one here. LOVE the paintjob, holy crap, it's a thing of beauty.
-Universe Razorclaw for 30 euros. I've been looking for this guy FOREVER, and he does not disappoint. The low price makes it even better. *Hugs it when no-one's looking* And why wasn't the Tigerhawk mold never repainted into Predaking? Seriously, the only thing it's missing is a lionhead on the chest.

And my absolute favorite...

Leader Animated Megatron.:D 60 euros, but oh so worth it. He's replaced my Classics Megatron as leader of the Decepticons, he's that good. Only nitpicks are that the lower legs are waaaay to short and bowlegged, and that he's barely bigger then Classics Meg, by a head or so. Oh, and those annoying wings and nonlocking arms. Grrr.

Still, awesome AWESOME figure. Will take pics when I can find my down memory card...

Just finished up my Leader Movie Megatron custom.

it's much bluer in the pics than it looks. the pics don't do it justice.
For sale, $40 shipped anywhere in the U.S.A. In my opinion it looks better than the Premium one.

SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
