Yep, same here. Igear essentially gave us what the Classics version of those guys should have been, rather than the truly ugly, half-assed official versions Hasbro released. But they weren't MP-level by any stretch, so that's still a big need.

It still seems strange that considering how integral Ratchet & Ironhide were to the 1st 2 seasons of the cartoon that Takara have taken this long to potentially do anything about them.

Considering the apparent weight behind the rumor that Ironhide would be one of the next releases, it would seem risky for a 3rd party company to take it on. So that wouldn't shock me if true, though it's unusual to get an MP image leak like this.

Yeah does seem strange but hopefully it is true.
I do like 3P's & have nothing against them but I would prefer if they stuck to characters we are far less likely to get from Takara officially (like the Dinobots & Minibots for example)

I'd like my main cast to be all Takara

Same here. Takara certainly has the ability to give us the definitive versions of these characters, at which point we wouldn't need to look elsewhere.

You know what these guys are missing? That's right Takara, their frickin leader!! Why Takara has taken so long and still not announced or released a new MP Megatron is beyond me.

I would have thought with the teasers for the 3rd party Apollyon (ie. not-Megatron) MP scaled figure, that this would have been the kick up the arse Takara needed. But still silence from them!!

I will just have to keep on waiting I guess.....

I can do without a Takara Megatron. In place of that, I wished they would come out with Galvatron. Apollyon looks so good that I don't need one from Takara.

I'm waiting to hear some in-hand reviews for Apollyon before buying it. If they are good then I'll definitely grab one. He looks amazing I'm just worried about the actual quality of the figure.

Yeah, I've heard some bad things about their bad QC in past figures. They seem to be delaying Apollyon to fix some QC issues though, so hopefully it turns out OK.

This Optimus Prime pen was a little surprising in its small size for the price, but the articulation is pretty awesome. Overall decent enough for me to be happy with it
